At Phu Tuc we were a little more security conscious, than we had been a Dong Ba Thin. As you can see, the communcations bunker is built into the ground, providing a lot more protection. The entrance way is set up to provide better protection and security. Teak wood logs were used along with aluminum pallets to strengthen the walls and ceiling. Sand bags and dirt was then used to fill in the holes and cover the roof. (Photograph is from my collection.)
