A mistake was made in June of 2000 and the Métis Nation of the United States,
National Council is in the process of making the wrong, right again.
They are working very hard in doing this and the Buteo' Hawk Tribe
will be giving them has much support and help as possible to remedy the problem.
Our National Chief, "Chief Joe Whitehand"
has authorized
me to post this notice to everyone that this applies to.
If you have contacted ANYONE between June and November 2000
and present, concerning a membership to the Métis Nation of the U.S.
and the only thing that you have gottin back is a cancaled check.
The Métis National Council AND the many faithful members
sincerly appoligizes to you. If you are STILL interested in becoming
a member, Chief Whitehand has given me the o.k. to state that
we will honor ALL person(s) that have applied.
All we ask is that you send to us a copy of your cancaled check
(front & back) and/or a copy of your money order reciept along with
your name, address, date of birth, soical siceraty number, tribal affiliation,
a small 1"x1" photo (face) and your signature and the Métis National Council will
honor your request free of charge as long as you send to us what WE request.
We have posted two (2) addresses at the bottom of this page
for you to send this information to. The first address is for the National Council
and the second is for the Buteo'Hawk Tribe.
The National Council is very busy in getting things organized so they
dont know how long it will take to honor your card but they will try
the best they can to get this resolved. We sincerly appoligize to
EVERYONE for this misfortune and we the Métis Nation of the
United States are hoping that you would still honor us by
wanting to be apart of our family...... Thank You for your understanding.

Dear Members........The Council of the Métis Nation of the United States
has made the decision to replace the old membership cards.
The old cards handed out in the single application/card included format
has produced FORGERIES and CLONES.
These fraudulent cards will only damage the Nation.
To prevent this; the new patent pending style
membership cards are being issued to all members by state
A donation of five dollars per already enrolled member
per card is being requested. New members will pay the standard
card processing fee of $20.00
Within the preiod of one year the old style cards will no longer
be honored as valid. If the card is not replaced within the period of
ONE YEAR from this date (02~02~2001),
the National Council will place the member on the inactive list until
such time as the card is replaces. There will be NO exceptions.

Awhile back we had placed on this page a few comments concerning
another group but it was OUR choice to remove them.
The information that we had placed was true to fact and this
page that you are on now was added because of this group.
We have good reasons for removing the comments.
We have better things to do in life then to lower ourselves
to a level of mindless un~productive evil spirited head games.
We are not placing the name of this group or its leaders
anywhere on this web site because we will not advertize or
promote them in any way shape or form, due to the fact
that we do not recognize them as a Métis group.
We will continue to pray for the leaders of this group
in hopes that they will return to the ways of the Red Road
and we can ALL become brothers and sisters again as it should be.
