My memories of Wesley are really not of any certain occasions. It's just an appreciation for his personality and his very lively sense of humor. I just loved the way Wesley made everyone who was his friend feel like they were the most special. Something in Wesley enabled many different people to reach out to him and he was able to give them the friendship that they needed in return. As a student, Wesley was quite a character and I loved having him in class. He always made me feel like I made a difference in his world. He drove me crazy sometimes and sometimes made me laugh until I cried. I will always regret that I will not be able to see him in any more of our plays, but I will always enjoy the wonderful memories of his acting in our productions. He was a very talented actor and was very devoted to giving his best.
I am content knowing that the last time I saw him, he was at one of his happiest times as I could see it in his eyes for they were reflecting his heart. I only wish I could have told him goodbye.
