Well, I waited until after the funeral to add to your brilliant idea, Amanda. And after looking through old pictures and letters tonight, I'm ready, so here goes...
Ever since the day Wes walked into Sunbury School when we were in 2nd grade, I've liked him. He was the type of guy everyone couldn't help but love, (I hate using past tense) and me and Court were good friends, and later became best friends. In a way, I grew up with him and he was like a brother to me; but not so much of a brother that I didn't notice when he grew up to be unbelievably sexy! My favorite memory of Wesley is Halloween night in 8th grade when I spent the night with Courtney. We were (gulp) "going out." I was too shy to kiss him, but to make a long story short, he came into the room where me and Court were sleeping, kissed me on the cheek and said "sweet dreams." I never did get to kiss him... There are plenty of other memories to talk about, but I prefer to treasure them by myself. I just know Wesley's great smile will never be forgotten and he will remain in my heart forever. I love you, Wes: sweet dreams.
