Every summer Brian and his family along with Kevin and his family would go to North Carolina to visit their Mamaw and Pawpaw. During the summer of 1983 Brian met Kimberly the granddaughter of his Gradmas best friend, Mrs. Ema. Brian instantly became attached to the baby girl. And over the years as Kimberly got older the two became best friends and spent every summer together. Kevin, Harold Jr., Tim and Jerald Jr. would also play with Kimberly and taught of her as their friend, almost as their baby sister. But none of them were as close to her as Brian. They were inseperable, always doing things together. They promised to always be best friends forever, never expecting the change that was going to happen in their lifes.
