Chapter 18

"Hey, this restaurant is really nice," Alyssa commented, as she sat down across from Nick at the restaurant. Nick smiled.

"Isn't it? I'm glad we came here. Now we have a chance to talk," Nick said.

"About what?" Alyssa questioned, opening the menu.

"Well...I was wondering if you would like to come with me to meet my parents next weekend," Nick said, grabbing one of Alyssa's hand, and rubbing his thumb over her fingers. Alyssa almost fainted with shock.

"M-meet your parents?" Alyssa squeaked.

"Yeah. Isn't that a great idea? I want my parents to meet the woman I so desperately fell in love with," Nick said, a sweet smile on his face.

"Aww, Nick, you're so sweet. Of course I'll go meet your parents," Alyssa responded, pasting a smile on her face.

This relationship must be more serious than I thought! Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?

"Don't you like it here? I hope tonight makes you forget about your stuffy parents," Mark said, planting a soft kiss on Natasha's lips as the maitre d' lead them to their seats.

"Yeah, I know it will. It's lovely here," Natasha responded.

"Great. I'm glad you like it, babe."

Once they were seated, they looked at their menus, and a little while later, they had ordered their food.

"So, what do you want to do when we finish eating? Do you want to go to the beach? Park? Wherever you want, baby," Mark said.

"Umm...how about the park? It's nice in the dark," Natasha replied, casually looking around the restaurant to take in her surroundings. She almost fell out of her chair when she saw Alyssa with Nick Carter across the room. She almost gasped with horror.

Oh, shit! What do I do? she thought desperately. If we're caught, we'll be dead for good.

"Aly? What's the matter?" Mark asked. Natasha looked over at Mark.

"Oh, just thinking about how glad I am we're here," she lied. Mark smiled.

"That's wonderful."

"Hey, I need to use the bathroom, okay? I"ll be right back," Natasha said, standing up.

"Okay."

Natasha started to walk in the bathroom's direction. She glanced back to see if Mark was looking at her, and when she saw he wasn't she headed towards the direction where Nick and Alyssa were sitting. Nick's back was to her, so she hoped Alyssa would look up and notice her.

When Alyssa looked up, she practically fell out of her chair. Natasha hurriedly pressed a finger to her lips and motioned for her to follow her.

"Uh, Nick, I gotta go to the bathroom. I'll be right back, okay?" Alyssa said, standing up.

"Sure, Tash." Nick went back to looking at the menu.

A minute later, they were face to face in the bathroom.

"What are you doing here?" they both asked silmutaneously.

"You first," the both said again.

"Okay. Nick wanted to bring me here because he had passed it and he'd never come here, so he wanted to check it out, and he asked me to come with him," Alyssa explained.

"Well, Mark wanted to cheer me up because of your parents and he wanted to take me out to dinner and he said this was a very nice place so we decided to come here," Natasha said.

"Wait, what happened with my parents?" Alyssa asked worriedly.

"Oh, nothing, it's just that they're getting on my nerves, but it's cool. I may have a nervous breakdown but it's all right. Sheesh, I don't know how you can stand them," Natasha complained.

"Probably because they're my parents and I've lived with them my entired life," Alyssa commented.

"Yeah, that's probably it. And since we're from so very different backgrounds and are used to different things that probably has something to do with it, too. But I still want to be switched, because that's the only problem I have. What about you? Do you have any problems?" Natasha asked.

"Well...your mom called. I didn't know who she was so I asked who was it, and she's like you don't know your own mother, and I was like I was just playing, and she believed it, I think, but the reason she had called was because she's staying in Madrid for an extra month," Alyssa said.

"That's great! We can stay switched that much longer. Or more, if we want, I'll just have to teach you more about how I act, and stuff, so if we're still switched when they come back, you won't raise too much suspicion. Anyway, we better be headed back. So we won't bump into each other, or Nick or Mark see you, I'm gonna tell Mark that I'm feeling sick, and that we should go, okay? I'll call you tomorrow," Natasha said.

"Okay." With that, they exited the bathroom, and parted for their table.

"Is everything okay?" Mark asked when Natasha came back.

"No, I'm feeling a little sick. Could we ditch this place, and go somewhere else? I think it's the smell in here that's making me dizzy," Natasha lied.

"Oh. Okay, sure." Mark extracted his wallet and took out two twenties, and laid them on the table, then stood up. "Let's go."

When they were settled in the car, Mark asked her where she wanted to go.

"How about the park like we were planning to?" Natasha suggested.

"Okay, Aly."

Once they'd reached the park, Mark took out a blanket from the back, and they walked onto the grass. He spread out the blanket, and they lay down on it.

"Alyssa...I never thought I'd feel this way about anybody. I love you so much," Mark whispered, pulling Natasha into his arms.

"I love you too, Mark," Natasha whispered, tears stinging her eyes but she suppressed the urge to cry.

He leaned down, and sweetly placed his lips on hers, sucking gently at her lips, drinking her sweet nectar, making him want more and more. He crushed her to him, wanting her as close as possible. His lips wandered to her neck, making Natasha moan in pleasure.

"God...Mark," she murmured as his mouth travelled down her chest, unbuttoning her shirt. He threw the shirt on the grass, and went back up to her mouth.

"I want you, Aly. I want you so bad," Mark said against her hot skin. She wrapped her arms around his neck, not thinking. Not thinking what the consequences for her actions might be.
