Chapter 9

Riiiiiing! Riiiiiiiing! Rrrrriii-

"Hello?" Alyssa answered.

"Hey, Natasha. It's me. Nick," a deep male voice said. Alyssa almost squealed but held herself back.

"Oh, hey, Nick. What's up?" Alyssa said, playing it cool.

"Oh, nothing much. Listen, there's this movie playing that I've been dying to see but I haven't been able to find someone to go with," Nick said.

"Okay..." Alyssa said, trying to sound as if she didn't know what he was hinting at.

"So, um....would you like to go with me? I hope you meant what you said about us going out together sometime," Nick said anxiously.

"Sure, Nick. That would be great. When?" Alyssa asked.

"Um...tonight, around, say, 8?" Nick questioned.

"Sure, that's good. You know where I am, right? OK, here's the address." She told him the address. "So, I'll see you then, okay? Bye, Nick."

"Bye, Natasha," Nick said softly. Alyssa hung up the phone, and screamed.

"What, what is it?" Dora asked anxiously, entering her room.

"Nothing, Dora. I'm just letting off some stress. Sorry," Alyssa said.

"Oh. OK. If you need me in anything, you know where I am." With that, Dora exited the room.

Alyssa lay back on her bed, smiling. This was going to be one great night.

"Hey, Alyssa. You lookin' hot today. What's the big deal?" a very cute guy Natasha didn't recognize asked her.

"Oh, nothing. Just tired of the old clothes, that's all," Natasha lied.

"Uh huh. Okay. So I'll see you around?" he asked. She nodded. He smiled and walked away. She stared at his butt.

"He has some great ass on him," she said to herself.

"What did you say, Aly?" Nicole asked, approaching Natasha.

"Oh, nothing, just talking to myself. Finally, the day is over!" Natasha exclaimed.

"Yeah, me too." They walked out of the school. "I'll see you tomorrow, Aly!" Nicole said with a wave, walking off.

"See you," Natasha said.

"Hey, Alyssa, wait up!" a guy shouted. Natasha turned around.

Oh, my God, it's that incredibly hot guy, Mark Simmons, Natasha thought.

"Hey," she greeted.

"Hi. Listen, I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime? I mean, if you want," Mark asked, his shiny black hair falling in his face. He impatiently brushed it back.

"Oh, sure, Mark. Anytime," Natasha said, giving him a flirty look.

"Great," he said, smiling. "What's your number?"

This is going better than I thought...Natasha thought, with a satisfied smirk.
