Chapter 15

"Nick, come on, man, we gotta go to the arena to do sound check. We're gonna be late," Brian said, knocking harder on Bonnie's hotel room door.

"I'm coming, Bri, hold on!" Nick said on the other side of the door. "Are you sure you don't wanna go with us, babe? You wanna stay here by yourself?" Nick asked Bonnie.

"Well...okay, Nick, you convinced me to go with you. Hold on, let me grab my purse," Bonnie said. She went and got her purse, and appeared a minute later.

"Okay, let's go," Nick said, grabbing her hand. They exited the room, and followed the rest of the guys out to the van.

Bonnie sat in the front row of the arena, watching the guys do sound check, when she thought she saw someone on the other side of the arena. She squinted, and saw the shadow move. Her heart started thumping. Could it be Andrew? She stood up. She was determined to find out once and for all.

Nick saw Bonnie stand up. "Hey! Bonnie, where ya going?" he asked, jumping off of the stage. Bonnie turned towards Nick as he walked towards her.

"Oh, um, I thought I saw something move over there. I was gonna see what it was," she explained, pointing.

"I don't see anything, hon. Maybe you just imagined it, or it was someone from the crew," he said, pulling her hand so she could follow him back to her seat. "Now sit. We're almost done. The guys want to go to the beach later. Wanna go?" he asked. Bonnie nodded.

"Sure, that sounds cool, Nick," she replied, sitting back on her chair, still feeling a little uneasy about the shadow. Nick went back on stage, and a while later, they finished the sound check, and were soon back to their hotel so they could get ready to go to the beach.

An hour later, they were lying down on the beach. Bonnie was wearing a two piece blue bikini.

"Bonnie, don't you think that bathing suit is a little too revealing?" Nick asked, seeing the glances she got from a lot of the guys that walked by.

Bonnie put on her sunglasses. "No, Nick. I think it's cute," she said. Nick sighed.

"Well...okay, then. Wanna play some volleyball? The rest of the guys are playing," Nick offered, standing up. Bonnie shook her head.

"No, I'm okay, Nick. I don't feel like playing anything right now," she answered, closing her eyes, and letting the warm sun rays wash over her body.

"Okay," Nick said, jogging toward the guys. Bonnie turned her head and looked at the people at the beach. There were a lot of buff guys around, she couldn't help but stare. Then she saw someone who looked a lot like Andrew lying down about thirty feet away from her. She turned her head the other way. She knew she had to be imagining things. All of these problems were causing her to hallucinate. That's what it was.

Andrew stared at Bonnie sleeping peacefully on the sand. He felt an urge to get her now, but he knew that was impossible, because there were tons of people around. Especially her boyfriend. I'm gonna have to do something about him. I'll just take care of both of them at the same time, he said to himself, as he turned around and walked away. He didn't want to take the chance of her recognizing him. Soon, my sweet. Very, very soon.
