"What?! You're pregnant. And you don't know who the father is," Brian stated, all thoughts of thoughts rushing through his head. What if it's mine? he wondered.
"Brian! What am I gonna do? What if the baby's yours?? What am I gonna do?" she repeated, walking back and forth from Brian's bed, to the bathroom doorway.
Brian grabbed Jenna's hand, and pulled her close to him. He kissed her softly on the lips. "Don't worry about that right now, Jen. Let's just go to bed..."
Nick realized that Jenna had been downstairs for too long, and decided to go check on her. He walked down the hall, and got in the waiting elevators. When he was on ground level, he stepped out of the elevator, and surveyed the lobby, looking for Jenna. When he didn't find her, he walked up to the front desk. They would know if she was there.
"Excuse me, ma'm," Nick said to the woman at the desk. The woman pasted a smile on her face.
"Yes, sir? May I help you?" she asked, stopping what she was doing.
"Yeah, did you see my wife come down here?" He described Jenna.
"No, sir, I haven't seen your wife. Maybe she came down here without me noticing. She could have left. I'm sorry I can't help you anymore sir, and you have a good day," she said, turning her gaze back to what she was doing.
Nick took that as a brush off, and decided to go ask Brian to help him look for Jenna. Maybe he knew where she went. He walked back into the elevator and punched in his room floor number. Once he was out, and in front of Brian's hotel room, he decided to use the spare key card that Brian had given to him in case Nick needed something while he wasn't there.
"Brian, Nick is goin to start looking for me, so I think I better go.
Nick took the key card out of his pocket, and inserted it into the slot. The door unlocked, and he flung it open, anxious to ask Brian to help him find Jenna.
Nick stood there shocked at what he was witnessing. His wife was in bed with his best friend.
