Laura & Jodie's Journal April 1998 Jodie is now 23 months. She is still very much committed to this breastfeeding relationship despite becoming rather independent. As the weather has gotten warmer (and drier) she is outside everyday exploring her world. It is such a neat thing to see our little ones discover their world isn't it? When she isn't running through the grass, swinging on her swing, sliding down the slide, chasing bugs or big sisters or making "dinner" in her playhouse she is ready for a little snack and love in mommy's arms. She has a large appetite at meal times which is typical of her sisters at that age. She likes to drink "coklit" milk at meals and during the day. Mommy milk is for in the morning when she rises, nap time, bed time and those times when she needs comfort. I have noticed a growth spurt recently. I will be curious next month at her 2 year checkup to see how much she has grown. Until then... see you next month! happily nursing, Jodie and Laura † |
