Chapter 2

*Sophie*

I stroked Duds for comfort. The bad guy had a gun! He better not harm me or Duds! Or Nick! I could not belive the guy being chased was Nick! I liked the BSB but Brian was my favorite. My friend liked Nick a lot and talked about him too much. I didn't think much of him. he wasn't my type.

Nick looked terrified too. "Hey, don't shoot us!" he protested. "We didn't do anything!".

The bad guy shoved the gun to Nick's chest. "Shut it, pretty boy! Do as I say and no one gets hurt! The fact is, you saw what me and my... friend... did and we want you to keep silent about it. I'll have to contain you somewhere until I decide what to do... get up,".

We stood. He then led us towards the abandoned warehouses, the gun still out. Scared, I led Dudley in the direction the guy led us, looking at the ground all the way.

The guy opened the doors to the dark warehouse and shoved us down in a dark corner. "Now you kids stay here and if you behave maybe you'll get breakfast,".

Breakfast?! Did that mean we had to stay there all night..?

*Nick*

"What, you're keeping us here all night?!" the girl gasped, stroking her dog for comfort. "You can't do that!".

"Yeah, people will come searching for us and find us," I pointed out to the bad guy. "I've got my cell phone, I'm calling the police!".

The guy snatched the phone from my hands. "I'll 'ave that!" he snarled, the gun still in his other hand.

"Nick you dumbass!" the girl cried. "You shouldn't have let him know you had the phone! When he left us you could have got it out. We're stuck without one now!".

"Sorry," I muttered, annoyed that I had been so stupid. I hadn't thought of that.

"Shut up, kids!" the guy shouted, stamping his foot. "I'm locking you in here for the night until I decide what to do with you. Don't bother shouting for help- no-one will hear you!". He went out of the warehouse and slammed the old metal door with a bang.

"Great, a night in this place with you!" the girl sighed. I could see her dog crawling onto her lap in the dim light.

"I'm sorry about the phone..." I said apoligeticly, trying to open the door, but it was locked.

"Shut up!" the girl said angrily. "I hate being stuck in here with you so shush so I can't hear your annoying voice!".

"OK," I said quietly, lying down on the cold concreate floor.

I sighed, closing my eyes. It would be a long night....
