Nick was sitting in his dressing room. He looked in the mirror, On it he had pictures of Daisy and Heather. He missed them both a lot. But didn't lead on to it. Nick hadn't seen Scarlet after that one night in his room. He hadn't had a dream or anything. His recent, well he wouldn't say girlfriend, not quite yet. But the girl he was dating Killeen wasn't murdered. Suddenly someone knocked on the door. "Yes?" he called.
"Security" a big voice replied.
Nick stood up and opened the door. The tallest security guard was standing in front of him with a scarlet red box.
"What's this" he asked as the guard handed it to him.
"I don't know, a girl gave it to me, said it was real important you see it.". The guard began to walk away.
"Wait!" Nick grabbed his shoulder. "What did she look like?". His eyes were wide with wonder.
"Well she was about 5'6 maybe, blonde hair, those big ringlet curls, her hair was cut to shoulder length. She had pretty dark blue eyes, and she was wearing faded light jeans a white tube top, with a zipper up velvet baby blue hoodie.". The guard looked confused.
"Her eyes, You said they were deep blue, did they look like they had a little ring of silver around them." Nick asked.
"Yeah, something like that."
Nick opened the box, inside was a silver scarf and a letter. Written in scarlet ink. The one with the name of Sapphires. Jewel.
Nick smiled widely. "Bring her in." he whispered.
A few minutes later the guard came back escorting the girl. She was smiling, had pink cheeks and blue eyes. With a ring of silver around them...
"Scarlet you're..." he whispered.
"Yeah, I'm mortal.". She hugged him tightly.
