A couple of weeks later, Nick and Sarah were chilling out backstage where that night's show would be.

"Nick, come on!" AJ yelled from the next room. "We're starting now,".

Nick sighed and stood up. "We've got our business meeting now honey, see you later,". He disappeared into the next room and took a seat at the table.

A couple of members of The Firm and a representative of Jive Records had come to the venue for the band's business meeting. It was pretty much the usual talk- tour decisions, recording dates and so on. Nick yawned, he found it pretty boring. He'd rather be cuddling up with Sarah.

"...So you're promoting in Europe next month," one of the managers said. "To tie in with the release of I Want It That Way,".

Nick smiled, he knew Sarah would love going to Europe with them.

"Where does the next tour start?" Brian asked.

"Europe- Belgium. In the start of June," they were told.

They were interrupted when the door opened. Sarah popped her head around the door and smiled shyly. "Can I come in and watch- I'm bored," she said, coming in and sitting herself down next to Nick.

They then went on to talk about recording. Sarah's eyes lit up. "How do I go about getting a contract with Jive?" she asked.

"She's a very talented singer," Nick pointed out. "Do you think she could get a contract with Jive?".

The management glanced at each other. "You'd need to send us a recording of yourself first," one of them said.

"Nick you can book me some time in the studios can't you honey?" she said, placing her hand on his and flashing him her brightest smile.

Nick nodded. "Anything for you, baby,".

Soon the meeting was over and the guys went to sound check. Sarah sat with Leighanne as they watch the boys.

"Brian and I are going out for lunch soon, to the Italian restaurant where we first went on a date together!" Leigh told Sarah with a smile.

"Cool, can Nick and I come?" Sarah asked. "We were going to eat out so why don't the four of us go?".

"I don't see why not," Leighanne answered. "That would be cool,".

Nick and Brian jumped down from off the stage and joined their girlfriends. "Ready to go babe?" Brian asked Leighanne.

"We're coming too," Sarah said to Nick. "So go and get changed,".

Soon the four were ready and they drove in Brian's car to the restaurant which was nearby. They took a table by the window and ordered their drinks.

"What happened at the meeting?" Leighanne asked. "Found out about the summer tour yet?".

Brian nodded. "Yeah, we're starting it in June in Europe. It'll be cool to tour there again, especially with you,".

Sarah and Nick exchanged smiles as they knew they would love touring together too.

"Oh when was it, June? At the end of June I'm going to start filming the movie, so I'll have to leave then I'm afraid,".

Brian looked sad. "Well I'll miss you!" he said.

The waiter came and gave them their drinks. Sarah sipped her mineral water. "Nick," she then said. "Do you think the Jive guy was interested in giving me a contact?".

Nick nodded. "of course! Once they hear your voice they'll want to sign you immediately! You can do some demo recording when you come to the studios with us next and I'll pass them on,".

"You're sweet Nick," Sarah said happily. "So it won't be long until I'm number one in the Billboard chart!".

Nick, Brian and Leighanne laughed.

"Well I can dream can't I?!" Sarah said, grinning.

The four ate lunch then drove back to the arena to rehearse for that nights show.

As the guys ran though the show, Nick looked out at the empty arena and saw Sarah sitting watching. He grinned, he loved having her around.

She gave him and wave and he waved back. I'm so lucky to have her, Nick though to himself with a smile.
