Chapter Two

A smile came over Nick's face as he walked up to the redhead. "Is this seat taken?"

"No," she replied with a nod of her head.

Nick extended his hand. "Hi, I'm Nick."

She returned the gesture. "I'm Greta. Nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine." He glanced at her magazine. "Enterainment Weekly? You into the entertainment thing?"

"Yes, I'm breaking into the industry. Just as you did many years ago."

Nick blushed. "You know who I am?"

"Of course I do. Millennium is my favorite CD."

"Thanks."

"So, are you a singer?"

"Yes, but right now I'm trying acting. I just finished an episode of All That. I have to wait another month to find out if I've been casted permanently. So, I was staying with my friend in Tampa."

"Good luck."

"Thank you."

Nick noticed a soda machine. "Like a soda? I'm buyin'."

"That isn't necessary."

"It's the least I can do for an upcoming actress."

She grinned. "Than I should accept from a famous singer."

Greta heard Kevin bickering with Howie as he rolled the film. "D. man would you turn that thing off? Kristin and I are having an important conversation America isn't a part of!"

Howie turned to AJ. Who threw his hands in the air. "Don't even get me on tape!"

Greta laughed. "Are they all so friendly?"

Nick handed her a soda. "They're all just missin' their girls."

"Aren't you?"

"I'm currently single."

Greta took a sip. "That doesn't sound permanent from your tone."

Nick looked into her dark eyes once again. "I hope not."
