Leslie wiped away tears. "Yes, she did, Nick. She's felt like that a long time."
"Really?" Nick asked in a shocked tone.
She nodded. "Yup. She's been ticked for awhile. Because she's working really hard to get her own career going."
"I wish I would have known," Nick said slumped over.
"Yeah." Leslie brought her hand to her stomach. "I'm going to be sick!" She burst out of the room.
Nick held his head in his head in his hands and fought oncoming tears. Had his career really ruined his relationship with his family?
BJ hated him, Leslie appeared deathly and Aaron the little brother that Nick had encouraged no longer liked his job. Job! How could a kid have a job?
