Heather woke up the next morning to the feel of something warm wrapped around her bare shoulders.
Alarmed, she quickly opened her eyes, to see the amazing sight of Ben sleeping peacefully by her side, his arms still around her. He looked so cute- his soft lips were slightly parted, breathing softly, a lock of glossy brown hair was over one eye and his gorgeous body on was full show.
Heather sighed and smiled. Memories of the previous night came flooding back. It had been heaven...
Still exhausted from their late-night antics, she closed her eyes and drifted off into sweet dreams.
She woke again later to a sweet scene. She sat up and stared in amazement. There were red roses all over the bed!
Ben was sitting by her side, holding one of the roses. "You treat me like a rose..." he sung with a smile.
Heather took the rose from him. "Thanks, that's really sweet of you,".
He lent over and kissed her. "I'm glad you liked it. So, what do you wanna do today?".
"I don't mind," Heather replied. "As long as I'm with you, I don't care!".
Helen stood in front of her mirror brushing her hair. She was still smiling from her night with Paul. She wondered if he really would call her.
The doorbell rang so Helen went to answer it. Her smile widened when she saw Paul standing on the step, wearing a baseball cap and shades. "Hiya Helen," he said, walking inside.
"Paul!" Helen exclaimed. "I didn't expect to see you so soon!".
"I couldn't wait to see you again," Paul replied. "You don't mind me coming, do you?".
Helen laughed. "Of course I don't!".
"So, how about going out today?" Paul asked. "You're not busy are you?".
Helen shook her head. "Nope,".
"Cool, we can go shopping or something then,".
Later that morning, Christian, Naomi, Sarah and Mark were on a double date in town.
"Let's go to Burger King and get some lunch," Sarah suggested. "I'm starving!".
They walked into BK and queued up. It was busy- full of kids and teenagers. Mark and Christian made sure they had their hats and shades on so they wouldn't get noticed by fans.
"Oooh look, it's a1!" a twelve-year old girl exclaimed to her friend.
Mark smiled at the girls and gave them his autograph, Christian soon doing the same. Naomi thought it was really sweet of them to do that- the guys were so nice to the fans.
"let's go and eat this by the river," Christian suggested, since there were no tables free. They walked down the high street and through an ally until they reached the banks of the Thames.
"Have you heard from Heather and Ben?" Naomi asked the others. "She didn't come back with us in the limo last night!".
"She stayed with Ben at the hotel," Mark announced.
"Gosh, Heather moves fast!" Sarah laughed.
Mark turned to Christian. "Have we got any business with the band to to tonight?" he asked.
"No, not until next week," Christian said.
"Great, let's go out tonight then,".
"I know a good club we can go to," Sarah suggested. "It's not long been open. It's called The Vibe and it's only a few miles away,".
"I'll call everyone and see who can come," Naomi added.
"I bet Ben and Heather will come too," Mark chuckled. "They can't seem to get enough of each other!".
Terence stood at Helen's doorstep and rung the bell. He was worried that he'd lost her to Paul and needed to ask her if she still wanted to go out with him. He twiddled his thumbs nervously as he waited at the doorstep.
Helen answered, her mouth dropping open when she saw him. "Terence! Um, you'd better come in...".
Terence stepped inside and sat himself on the sofa. "I need to know if you still want me," he blurted out. "You were all over Paul last night, please tell me it was just a one night thing...". He trailed off when he saw Paul walk into the room.
"Sorry, am I interrupting something?" Paul asked, backing away.
Helen sighed. "Terence, I'm sorry but... can we just be friends?".
Terence stood up, his lip trembling. he opened his mouth to say something, but decided not to and dashed off, tears streaming from his eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break you and him up," Paul said, putting an arm around Helen.
"It's OK," Helen told him. "I was going off him anyway,".
"Let's go out now," Paul suggested. "Where do you wanna go? The cinema?".
"Yeah OK," Helen said, cheering up. "I haven't seen 'The Grinch' yet,".
"That looks funny, OK let's see that,".
Terence was not the only let-down boyfriend. Duncan was also feeling upset about being dumped.
He walked through the shopping center, thinking to himself all the ways he could get his revenge on Ben. He could sell a story about him to The Sun... no that was out of order. He could give out Ben's address to fans on the internet... no that could get him in trouble. He could put chewing gum in Ben's hair... no that was childish.
Duncan gasped as he noticed Heather a few meters away from him, standing outside a shop. What a coincidence! His face fell when he saw Ben come out of the shop.
Ben and Heather walked away arm in arm, staring dreamily at each other. Duncan couldn't help thinking how happy they looked together.
He managed a smile. He wanted Heather to be happy, so if Ben made her happy it was fine by him.
Heather and Ben went out of the shopping center into the July sunshine. "Are you happy?" Ben suddenly asked.
Heather was confused. "What do you mean?".
"Do you like being with me?".
"Of course!".
"So will you... will you...".
"Will I what?" Heather wanted to know.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Ben asked, with a pleading look in his eyes.
Heather hugged him. "No way! Nah, just kidding. Of course I will,".
"Heather!".
Heather looked up and saw her mate Linda, who was with her boyfriend Colin. "Hi!".
Linda was holding a huge PC World bag. "We've just been buying Colin's new computer that he's going to take to Oxford with him," she informed them.
"It had the best hard drive," Colin explained. "And lots of floppy disks," he winked, making Linda laugh.
"I got a text message from Sarah," Linda told Heather. "She said we're all going to The Vibe tonight,".
"Cool, we'll come along too," Ben said.
"What's The Vibe?" Colin asked, confused.
"It's a new nightclub," Heather informed him. "He needs to get out more," she whispered to Linda.
The whole crowd was at the club that night- Heather, Ben, Helen, Paul, Sarah, Mark, Naomi, Christian, Katy, Jenny, Naomi I, Carly, Lucy, Nick, Sophie, Linda, Russell, Sam, Colin and Pete.
Ben was startled to hear a loud high pitched scream in his ear. "What the..?".
Behind him was a group of girls who were about fifteen. "Ben!" one screamed, as another gave Heather an evil glare.
"Cow!" another spat, pulling Heather's hair. They obviously didn't like seeing that Ben had a girlfriend.
"You lot! Out! You're underage!".
Ben and Heather were both relieved as the bouncer chucked the girls out.
"I'm sorry about that," Ben apologised. "There's not many fans as nasty as that. Most of the fans are cool,".
The boys went off to the bar to get some beers, while they girls went off to chat and dance.
"How was the double date?" Heather asked.
"It was wicked!" Sarah smiled. "Mark's dead sweet,".
"Yeah, we only went around town but we had a great time," Naomi added.
"Helen can I have a dance with Paul?" Katy asked.
Helen nodded. "Yeah, if you want,".
"Can I too?" Jenny asked.
"Yeah, I don't mind,".
A little later the boys had returned so everyone paired up. Nick had brought AJ along, so he was dancing with Sophie. Ben and Heather were all over each other, doing sexy dancing.
Katy was having the dance with Paul Helen had promised. Paul couldn't help get turned on by Katy who was wearing tight hipsters and a strappy crop top. Although he was falling in love with Helen, he was having feelings for Katy too.
Katy gave him a flirty look which he returned. "Let's slip outside quickly," he whispered.
Without Helen noticing, they crept out into the corridor and had a snog.
Later on, Paul was dancing with Jenny and couldn't help thinking she looked fit. Helen was in the toilet at the time, so taking a chance, he shoved his tongue down her throat.
"Don't tell Helen," Paul whispered when Helen returned.
But the kiss hadn't gone unnoticed. Carly had seen them and was going to tell Helen.
Helen's smile faded as Carly told her. "The two timing creep!" she yelled angrily. She marched up to Paul, who was sitting at the bar with yet another beer in his hand.
"What's wrong baby?" he asked. He was feeling really guilty about it now.
"I know what you've been up to," she said, slapping him across the face. "Make your choice. It's me or them,".
