Sarah's eyelids fluttered open, to the relief of Christian, Mark and Naomi. "She's alive!" Mark exclaimed, hugging her tightly.
An ambulance pulled up and a doctor checked Sarah. "We'd better take her to the hospital for a full check up," he announced. "But she should be OK. Well done for saving her in time. If she'd been underwater for much longer she could have died,".
Naomi and Christian waved goodbye and went indoors while Sarah was put on a stretcher and carried into the ambulance, closely followed by Mark.
She gave him a small smile. "Thank you for saving me Mark," she said weakly as they were shut inside the back of the ambulance.
Mark took her hand. "You don't have to thank me, baby,". He was just glad she was OK.
A week later, Heather was at work at Marks and Spencers. She sat at her till and drifted off into a daydream. She had seen Ben a couple of times during the week, but on that day she had to work. She hoped Ben would phone or text her that night.
There wasn't many customers so Heather was bored. She closed her eyes and pictured Ben's gorgeous face, wishing he was with her at that moment.
"Excuse me! Well well, the service in here isn't very good!".
Heather snapped out of her dream and turned around... to see Ben smiling at her. "You scared me then, I thought you were a customer!".
Ben laughed. "I am a customer, actually," he stated, putting a bag of ham and mustard crisps on the conveyer belt.
Heather scanned the crisps through the till and Ben paid for them. "Look, I was thinking," he said, propping his elbow on the till to get closer to Heather. "You've been spending a lot of time over at my house so why don't you... move in?".
Heather's eyes widened, had she heard him right? "Seriously?" she asked. "Do you really want me to?".
"Yeah!" Ben said enthusiastically. "That is, if you want to,".
"I'd love to," Heather said, grinning.
"Chris and I are buying a big house in Staines and he's asking Naomi to move in with him. The four of us could live together, wouldn't that be cool,".
"Yeah," Heather said. "So when will you have the house?".
"Chris is paying for it today, so we can move in tomorrow," Ben said excitedly. "So, the answer's yes then?".
"Oh yeah!" Heather said again. "I'll start packing my things together tonight!".
Ben left, leaving Heather in a daze. She was so happy to be moving in with Ben, it was a dream come true.
A couple of days later, Ben, Christian, Heather and Naomi had settled into their new house and were holding a big housewarming party. It was a beautiful summer evening and everyone was having a great time.
The house was amazing. It backed onto the River Thames and was in a secluded area- so they could be as noisy as they liked. There was a big pool in the huge back garden and even a recording studio for the boys.
Sarah and Mark sat in the conservatory next to the CD stereo system- they were in charge of music. Sarah was feeling better after her accident, but the doctor had advised her to take it easy and not get too worn out.
Naomi and Christian were in the pool, playing volleyball in the water. On their team were Carly, Helen and Colin. On the other team were Paul, Nick, Lucy, Jenny and Sophie.
Katy, Linda, Sam, Naomi I, Russell, Pete, Tasha, Marat and AJ were playing spin the bottle, while Ben and Heather danced to the music under the setting sun.
"Shall we join in with spin the bottle?" Heather suggested as they danced to 'Movin' Too Fast'.
"No, I'll get too jealous when you have to kiss the other boys," Ben said, putting an arm around her. "I'm hungry, let's go to the barbecue,".
Heather got a burger and Ben got a hot dog. "No onions in that!" Heather instructed. "I don't want you having bad breath,".
Ben laughed as he squirted out some tomato sauce. Unfortunately, he squeezed it too hard and it went all over his T Shirt- which Heather had got him from M & S as a present.
"I'd better go and change," Ben said, looking down at his shirt in dismay.
Heather ripped it off him and threw it aside. "Just stay topless," she suggested. "It's quite warm this evening,". She eyed up his sexy body, trying to stop herself licking her lips.
A little later, the volleyball and spin the bottle had ended and everyone was dancing. Mark and Sarah were doing a great job DJing, playing a good mix of tunes, throwing in the occasional a1 song.
Christian and Naomi spent most of the evening drinking and singing along to the music. "Put a song on the karaoke!" Christian slurred, putting his Bacardi Breezer down.
"What song?" Mark shouted to him.
"Anything!".
Mark laughed to himself and put an Aqua album in the CD player. He passed Christian a microphone and started up 'Barbie Girl'.
Everyone was in fits of laughter as he sang it in a high pitched voice. Afterwards, Ben and Heather attempted singing Daphne & Celeste's 'U.G.L.Y.'.
"Where's Linda?" Heather asked Sam later, nobody had seen her all evening.
Sam laughed. "I saw her and Colin going into the shed an hour ago, I don't think they've come out yet!".
Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves, but Helen remained quiet, a worried look on her face.
Paul noticed and took her aside. "Is everything OK?".
Helen's eyes were filled with tears. "Paul. I have something.. to... to tell you..." she stuttered.
"What?" Paul asked, alarmed.
"I'm pregnant,".
Paul's heart started racing. "Oh my God!". He smiled. "I'm going to be a father!".
Helen shook her head. "Um, Paul. You... you might not be," Helen whispered.
"Huh?".
"It could be yours, but it might be... Terence's," Helen said, burying her face in her hands.
