Today (Fri June 1st) I got to meet the lads, it was the best day ever!! To see the photos, click here.
Almost 2 weeks ago, I was listening to the radio (Heart 106.2) and they had a competition to win VIP backstage tickets to the Disney Roadshow in Croydon. You have to listen out for S Club 7 and the first caller would win. And I was the first caller!!
I asked my mate Heather to come but unfortunatly she couldn't make it. So I went with my friend Helen, who is also a huge fan. We were given special passes and badges and went up with about 20 other winners to this room. It had a row of chairs down the side, a TV showing the Disney Award nominations, a table with refreshments and a board at the back where photos would be taken.
Everything was running late so we had to wait for ages. Finally Reel turned up. They were really nice! Everybody had photos taken with them against the board then they went around chatting with us signing autographs and posing for pics. They were really sweet!
Next in the room were Blue and Boom. Both bands were really nice and happily signed autographs and posed for pics. Outside in the car park below we could hear screaming so I looked out and saw a car had pulled up and a load of girls with a1 flags were screaming at the people getting out, it was a1! I could only see Chris though.
Because they were so late, we didn't get as long with the lads as we did with the other groups- about 10 minutes. I took loads of pictures of them and everybody had an official picture taken with them, then they had a few minutes to do autographs. It was a bit of a rush as the show had already started and they needed to get ready, but I managed to get each of them to signed their pages in the A List booklet, and I got a pic of me with Chris, and me with Ben! I had a bag with latters and presents for them so I gave it to Ben. He was so sweet! He said "Is this for me?". I told him "Yes, well it's for all of you,". He smiled and thanked me, then leant over so I could kiss him! Kissing him was amazing, his cheek was kind of bristly, that's all I can remember about kissing him!! He looks soooooo good close up, and has the cutest little freckles on his nose!
I managed to take quite a few pics, Mark posed for one, giving me a big smile, and I have some funny ones of Paul.
After they'd left, we went to watch the show, which had already started. The lads did a wonderful performance of SOBNY which was similar to how they did it at 5 Night Stand, and they sung Three Times A Lady. They then did Take On Me (miming, but they had sung the other two live) along with the dance rountine- so they haven't completely given up dancing!
As soon as I got back I went into town to get my pictures developed and they turned out well. I'll be sure to frame the pic of me and Ben!
