Chapter 1- Under The Rule of the Cartasians

It was the year 3000 and Earth had been dominated by Cartasia, a matriarch whose technology was so powerful that no other nation, even the U.S., could vie against its powers. This was a nation ruled for and by women whose intelligence exceeded that of men.

Cartasia had plotted since the year 2874 and had finally taken over the world. After stripping the U.S. of its armed forces, Cartasia finally brought peace and prosperity to Earth, allowing trade to flourish and people to lead happy lives.

The capitol of Cartasia was where the royalty of Cartasia lived and ruled over the earth. People called it "The Floating City" because it was perched up in the clouds, overlooking Earth from above. The city was full of riches and jewels. It was held up the sky by the earth's magnetic field for the Cartasians were so intelligent that they could manipulate nature to satisfy their needs. All the energy used in Cartasia was captured solar energy. They were indeed the sacred race.

It was the year 2995 when Queen Dejais had just received the crown on her15th birthday. She was young, but rightfully deserved the throne for her mother died of a virulent disease at the age of 35.

She lacked the experience, but possessed a charisma and keenness that not many could match. She was daring, but responsible. She ruled justly and confidently, but the counselors of Cartasia took advantage of her youthfulness to slowly take over her power. However, as the days passed, Dejais strengthened her hold on the people. She loved the power.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world led a normal life. Movies and media still enjoyed their popularity. Businesses thrived, as did the music industry. Rock bands surfaced and became famous, and the BSB became a household name. Life could not have been more normal and carefree.

The only problem was that the U.S. was still living in its grandeur past and the president and senators continued to fight for what they believed was independence.
