I stood in the airport holding Bailey close. Both she and I were crying, just a little. I had to go on a tour for four months. And we had just gotten word that Bailey had again gotten pregnant and this time everything looked good. I kissed the tip of her nose. "I'll be back soon." I whispered.

"No you'll be back in four months." she said sadly. I had nothing to say because I knew she was right.

"I'll write to you every day I am gone."

"Flight 272 to Los Angeles "

I sighed. "That's my plane baby doll. I'll miss you." I didn't want to let go of her hand, I walked as far as I could still clasping it in my hand.

"Okay let's go Romeo." AJ teased pulled me away from the love of my life.

She smiled and waved sadly. I didn't stop staring at her, even when she was out of sight and we were on the plane.

I was seated in between AJ and Brian, which was the way I liked it. I hated the window seat, it always made me feel airsick and I hated the aisle seat, just because. I looked over at Brian who was talking to his little girl on the phone. She had just turned two in October last year. Her name was Hannah, She was beautiful, I know Brian will be proud of her, I can tell she is going to be a singer like her daddy.

"Yes Honey Daddy misses you too. I love you so much. Wow! You did, did you? That's great baby, I'm proud of you!" He smiled widely and I could almost see a tear in his eye. He looked over at me. "Hey Sweetheart how about you tell Uncle Nicky what you did okay? Okay hold on." He handed me the phone.

I laughed and took the cell from his hand. "Hello Hannah" I said. Her small voice was so sweet. Right then my heart heaved thinking of the child Bailey and I had lost. I secretly named the child, the first name a boys and the middle name a girls. Dallas Marie, I had thought it up lying in bed that night, but I didn't even like the name Dallas. I sighed.

"Hi Uncle Nicky, Guess what's I did." she said excitedly.

"What did you do?" I replied trying to show just the same enthusiasm.

"I caught lightning buggies." she squealed.

I laughed. "Good work. Well here's Daddy, I love you." I handed back the phone to Brian, and I was lost in my own wild thoughts. What it would be like to be a father, seeing my little girl's dance recital or her first singing lesson. Teaching my son how to play basketball and the drums. Taking my family with me on tours. I wanted to do it all. "I want to be a daddy." I thought. I snapped out of my dream and looked over at AJ, who was looking at me sympathetically. "What?" I asked.

AJ smiled. "We know you want to be a daddy, you will. Bailey is pregnant now remember."

I was puzzled, had I said what I was thinking out loud? I was about to ask, but when I looked up, it ended up that everyone was engaged in their own separate conversations. I looked at my watch and sighed, I still had pretty much an hour on the flight. I leaned over and laid my head on Brian's shoulder. Brian just patted my head and continued to talk to his wife and daughter.

I opened my eyes to my ears popping, I hated it when that happened. Brian began to laugh. "What?" I asked groggily.

"You should see your hair, you look great man."

My cheeks began to heat up and I pulled on my black fisherman hat that said 'FRACK' across the front.

"Way to be noticeable Nick."

I laughed and began to stubble out of the plane. Once in the airport I found out just how right Brian was. I tried to stick close to the guys and tried not to be noticed. But I groaned when about 30 screaming girls began to run towards us.

AJ, Brian, Kevin and I stood in a circle, hoping that they think that they made a mistake. Howie was in the bathroom, which didn't seem like a bad idea right now. Unfortunately Lady Luck wasn't with us, because the girls began tugging at our shirts and throwing questions at us, shoving a note book or a CD and marker at our hands. I sighed and turned to face the group. I took a marker and a CD in my hand and scribbled my name down.

As I handed it back and took another one, the first girl came closer to ask me something. "Is it true that your sister got pregnant by Justin Timberlake?"

I laughed at her, I didn't mean to be rude, but the question was just so unbelievable. "No way!" I laughed again.

Another girl came up to me; she looked no older than eight or nine. I squatted down and signed her shirt and her CD she had with her. She began to fiddle with her stringy brown hair; "Do you want to ask me a question." I asked quietly.

She nodded her head shyly. "Well go ahead."

She pulled me down closer so that she could whisper into my ear. "Will you marry me?" she asked.

I was shocked. I didn't know how to answer the question. I waited for a few moments then I smiled and replied. "I have a beautiful wife. And I love her very much. So I can't marry you. But someday you'll meet a guy that deserves you and he'll be as lucky as I was when he gets the question. Only he'll say yes."

She smiled weakly and looked like she wanted to cry and die of embarrassment. The sight just about broke my heart; I took her hand and kissed her cheek, "What's your name?" I asked.

She looked up at me with her big brown eyes, "Laura."

I gave her a hug, "Nice to meet you Laura, but I have to go now."

She nodded and waved good bye. The guys and I barged our way to the limo.
