"I am stuffed to the MAX!" I shoved the Oeros away from me and Crystal took the bag back into the kitchen.

We sat out on the deck.

"So are you going to give Nicky boy a ring?"

"I don't think so."

"Aw, why not?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I dunno it would be weird."

She rolled her eyes. "You said that already and besides what do you have to lose?"

"My dignity, friendship and whatever relationship we had before he left."

"How are you going to lose that by a phone call?"

"I dont know!" "

I think you should call still."

"NO!"

"Fine than you'll never know." She got up and went into the house.

I followed her "know what?"

"Nothing."

"Oh come on tell me."

"You'll never know if he still loves you or ever really did."

I looked at her than the phone.

"Of course I wanna know but what if he doesn't? Than what do I do?"

Hhe shrugged. "I didn't think of that but maybe you could find out when he gets home, catch up on things and maybe if he does he'll drop you a few hints, but
you still need to call."

"Maybe Later."

She nodded her head and we sat on the couch planning what to do for the summer.

"Ah Home sweet home!" I put my bags down and took in a deep breath.

"Your mom's not home yet. Go get unpacked before you do anything else."

"Yes sir!"

I picked my bags back up and climbed the stairs to my room. After unpacking and getting settled in I went downstairs and down to the living room where Aaron was playing nitendo.

"Hey A.C"

"Hey Nick." He stared at the screen

"OK..." He looked up at me.

"She didn't call at all but I think it was her last day of school."

"Thanks Aaron." I smiled and he smiled back.

I picked up the phone and dialed up Brian's number.

"Hello?"

"Yo B-man I know you just got home but I need you to help me with something do you think you could get over here in like a half hour?"

"Yeah sure lemme just ya know ok?"

"OK thanks a lot see ya."

I hung up and watched Aaron play.
