"OK so if Justin asked you out you would say no but if Anthony asked you out you would say yes?"

Crystal got up off the couch and into the kitchen

"Coke or Sprite?"

"I have soda in the house?"

'Yeah dipshit now what do you want?"

"Coke." she came back and handed me my coke.

"OK so say he was to call you than what?"

"I cry of happiness tell him to come over. Hang out Flirt than go to sleep happy. Why?"

"Just asking."

We flipped through the T.V channels but nothing good was on. The phone rang my heart skipped a beat.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sweetie listen I'll be home by 7. Dinner is in the refrigerator if I'm not home before you get hungry. If you are planning to go out tonight leave a note and where your going to be and number I can reach you at or bring your cell ok?"

"Yeah yeah anything else?"

"No I'll see you tonight."

"Bye." I hung up the phone.

"It was my mom."

"No kidding listen don't worry he'll call and if he doesn't than we'll hafta go over there and beat him up ok?"

I laughed. Nick only lived 3 houses down and if he got home I would see the car pass by so I woulnd't need to call to see if he's home or not anyways.

"Hey Ang let's go swimming."

"OK." We went upstairs to get our suits on.

We decided to go on the beach first than rinse off in the pool. My house was on the water so it was nice to have both in the same backyard.

"Angie I'm just gonna get the towels. I'll be right back." I nodded my head and sat on a chair deck staring off in the direction of Nick's house.

"OK nick so what's up?"

"OK you know Angela right?"

"Of course."

"OK well she's off from school and there' a really good chance that she's home with Crystal or Dustin."

"Yeah so?"

"Well I want to see her."

"Ok..."

"So what should I do? Show up and be like 'Hi remember me I'm Nick and I'm back in your life now.'"

"No but it loks like you better think up something."

I got up and looked out the window and sitting on the deck was Angela

"Oh man I can't do this I am going to be sick!"

I ran into the bathrom and well..

"Nick it's ok man." Brian tried comfortaing me form the other side of the door.

"Geez how much did you eat?

I opened the door wiping my mouth.

"Yummy Nick."

I grinned. "Very funnny." I brushed my teeth and washed my mouth out with that scope stuff and changed my shirt. Brian suggested we take a walk.. on the beach.

"It's so good to be back on the beach."

"Yeah Nick I know what you mean." We walked past the first house than the second and there was the third. I stopped.

"Should I pretend like we're just friends?"

"Yeah find out what happened first while you were gone."

"Ok."

We walked. Crystal walked out of the house and Angela got up and they were talking and laughing. Brian and I stopped as Angela made eye contact with me for the first time her eyes grew wide. Her jaw dropped as well as Crystal's.

"Oh my God." were the only words to leave Angela's mouth before she ran off the deck and jumped into Nicks arms.A tear rolled down her cheek as she hugged me tightly. I held her tight than set her back on her feet in the sand.

"Happy to see me?"

All she did was look me over as if she was making sure it was me. Brian and Crystal had gone inside to leave us alone.

"So are you happy to see me?" " Hell YEAH! Why wouldn't I be! It's been almost 7 months. I've missed you so much!" She hugged me again and waited for me to reply.

"Me too. I thought about you EVERY single day."

She smiled at me. "I thought about you every day too."

I smiled back putting my arm around Angela's waist they walked into the kitchen to find Brian and Crystal. The 2 of them were drinking sodas talking about school.
