Chapter Eleven

You won't believe it but I decided to go and meet Nick that night at the restaurant and I was on my way in the elevator. I was wearing a simple black dress that really fit me; with all the modeling stuff I learned how to dress properly and how to act in certain occasions but they never taught me how to act when the person you love breaks your heart and ask for another chancetalking about another chances I didn't know if I was going to forgive him even though I still loved him and I could not get from my mind the kiss he gave me earlier, it felt sooooo good, let's see how that night goes

I made my way to the restaurant and there he was with a single white rose in his hand.

"I'm glad you came," he said handing me the white rose looking for my answer, but I didn't speak. He led me to a quiet table and a waiter came up to us. We ordered our food and I decided to talk.

"How's your family?" I asked casually.

"Very good, Aaron and Angel really miss you" he said.

"Oh, just Aaron and Angel?" I asked.

"You know the answer for that question. Life has been hell for me since you left." he said.

"Actually I was asking if Leslie missed me too, we were good friends, but it's good to know that you missed me too" I said dryly. I looked up to his expression and he looked pretty hurt, then I started to feel bad about saying that.

"I'm sorry, Nick, that's not-" he cut me off.

"I guess I really hurt you. I messed up, didn't I?" he asked me, but just when I was going to answer our food came. While I was eating I saw him staring at me without touching his food. I realized that I missed him a lot too, I was immersed in my modeling world but deep down inside me I still remembered his touch, his kisses, his sweetness he snapped me back in reality.

"Do you wanna dance?" he asked shyly, afraid of a negative answer.

"I'd love to" I said. I looked at his now shining blue eyes as he took my hand and led me to the dance floor. A slow song by Shania Twain was playing so we got really close to each other; I rested my head in his shoulder and we danced slowly to the song.

You've got a way with me
Somehow you got me to believe
In everything that I could be
I've gotta say you really got a way

You've got a away it seems
You gave me faith to find my dreams
You'll never know just what that means
Can't you see you got a way with me

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

You've got a way with words
You get me smiling even when it hurts
There's no way to measure what your love is worth
I can't believe the way you get through to me

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

Oh how I adore you
Like no one before you
I love you just the way you are

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

It's just the way you are

Through all the song I realized that indeed Nick had a way with me, how he holds me, kiss me, his words, the way he showed me how love's made of, the way we used to make love; I was truly madly deeply in love with him, I always had and I needed to tell him. When the song ended, without breaking apart he whispered something in my ear.

"I love you Karla, it was you all the way" he sounded so sincere that I started to cry "I'm sorry of hurting you, I really am".

"I love you too" was all I could manage to say. He lifted my face and kissed me softly.

"Nick" I said.

"Yes" he replied.

"Let's go to my room" I said.

"Are you sure?" he asked. I answered that with a very passionate and deep kiss and we walked to my hotel room hand-by-hand and smiling at each other.
