Justin was right, the nightmare was finally over. The boy's old security was back on the job and we were back home, sort of. Training became harder and I would arrive at my house around 12am to sleep a few hours then get up at 4 to be there at 5:30.

The neat part was that we were seen as the smart guys over in the academy...some folks even wanted to emulate us. (Blush)

One day when I got it off, I was pleasantly sleeping in my bed when...a bomb exploded? NO. A UFO landed on the lawn? NO. Abraham Lincoln came back from the grave? NO. My dog puked on me? Funny, but NO. AJ called me to ask me out for dinner? YES.

Talk about being ecstatic, I was freaking out 30 minutes before he came. I had decided to wear my jeans and this cool T-shirt that said "Born on the Waikolea", but decided it would look too funky. So I settled with my khaki shorts and a baby blue blouse with the word 'Cool' across it. I loved that T-shirt.

As I was fixing the last clump of my unruly straight brown hair in place, AJ arrived. It was then when I really started freaking out. My hands started shaking and I had to let the clump fall on my left cheek. I thundered down the stairs as "Ichiban" my terrier started barking hysterically as all terriers normally do.

I shooed Ichiban away and opened the door. AJ's figure was framed on the door. Ok I'm over reacting but he did look CUTE. He smiled and took from behind his back a batch of freshly cut roses. I gasped and took them inside. Then I gingerly followed him outside and into his car.
