Allyiah Roberts. Whenever I hear that name I have to break out in laughter. The girl can make you smile even if your crying your guts out, she's also my best friend since 7 grade.
The moment she arrived AJ called it the Allyiah havoc. I can't blame him, she drove us crazy for nearly a month. How come? Well the moment AJ found out I was leaving for Belgrade in less than 2 months he decided to spend more time with me.
I have to admit he had grown on me, and I loved him dearly with each day, so did he. He told me. One day while Allyiah was still in Florida
"You grew up in a Mercedes-Benz." Allyiah said from out of the blue as she tumbled next to us. AJ and I had been sorting out my photo albums and we were both sprawled out on the floor.
"did not." I answered. AJ just looked at us mystified.
"I knew you would answer that, just joking."
"You'd better sister." I said. While I looked at Allyiah I suddenly realized how much I loved my friend. We were very different in our looks, I'm clear brown, she's black. I've got unruly straight brown hair and she's got the most beautiful dark curly hair. We're both thin, although she tends to be chubby. I'm short, she's tall. But in our ways, we both had a big mouth and we both stood up for our ideals, not to mention her parents were divorced.
"What?" she asked looking around at the mess.
"Just remembering." I said smiling.
"I don't believe you." AJ whispered to me.
I gave in. "I was just thinking I'm gonna miss you guys so much. It's not the same thing being in Florida than being in Belgrade."
"We know." Allyiah said. "And that's why I already told your man over hear that if he does anything funny while your away I'm gonna have John pound him on the ground."
"Thanks sister."
"No prob."
AJ grinned and put his arm around me. "You know I wouldn't do that, besides I'll be to busy missing you."
"What would I do without you guys?"
"how do I live without youuuuuu??" Allyiah sang. I smirked and threw her a pillow.
"hey!"
"Pillow fight!" AJ
shouted.
