Angela was upstairs in her bedroom when her mother called. It was Thursday and Alexis Twinbird from "Rolling Stone Magazine" came to interview her.

'Angela. Could you come down honey.' Mum called.

'Yeah mum. I'll be down in a minute.' She called, sighed and dragged herself out of bed. She never thought she'd be nervous because of the interview... but she was. It was her first time... one that would be followed by many more.

She straightened out her dress, combed her hair and fixed her make-up. After many check-ups she found herself ready.

'Hey Angela.' Alexis said as Angela walked into the living room.

'Hello.'

'It's so nice to finally meet you in person.' Alexis said and shook Angela's hand

'It's cool to meet you too. I've a great fan of your magazine. I think I own every single copy.' Angela admitted.

'Wouldn't it be cool to have a copy with your OWN face on the cover?' Alexis suggested.

'That would be really cool!' Angela said. 'Why don't we go outside?'

'Sure, wherever you want.' Alexis said and motioned her cameraman to follow her.

'You're gonna tape it?' Angela wondered.

'Yeah, unless you mind...'

'No, no. I don't really mind.' Angela said as they sat down at the poolside.

'Alright. Ready for round one?' Alexis asked. Angela nodded.

'I guess so. Bring out the big guns!'

'Here goes. First of all, I wanna thank you for taking time to talk to me. I can imagine you must be really busy.' Alexis said.

'Well actually, no. I'm kinda enjoying my highly wanted- free time right now. We stopped touring for a month or two so now I get to do whatever I want whenever I want it.' Angela replied with a big grin on her face.

'And what do you do when you're not dancing and touring?'

'Well, the normal things a teenage girl does. Hang with my friends, go to school whenever I have the time. I play basketball as much as I can, I dance a lot. Mostly freestyle and when I have to, I dance assignment wise with Kyle. Ya know, just the normal teenage stuff.' Angela replied.

'You've been to the MTV Awards on Hawaii. What's the first thing that crossed your mind when you heard the host call out your name? Ya know: and the winner is Angela?'

'The very first thing... geez, there's where a lot of things crossing my mind at that particular moment.' Angela mumbled. 'I was kinda shocked. Cuz I really didn't expect to win the award. But after that it was just... total happiness that took over.'

'What was it like when you first saw yourself on TV? What where you thinking?'

'I was screaming and running around the house! I called all my friends and told them to watch MTV.' Angela joked. 'I went ballistic. It's really weird to look at yourself. Cuz the only thing you're really looking at is the way you look and they way you behave. I'm afterwards always scared that I might have said something dumb or stupid. Ya know.'

'I can imagine. Alright, this next question is something that's been haunting fan's minds for a long time...' Alexis introduced.

'Now I'm curious...' Angela smiled.

'What's it like to work with Britney? What's she like?'

'Brit's my best friend. She's such a talented girl, really sweet and caring. Always looking out for others.' Angela explained. 'I'm very blessed that I got the opportunity to work with her.'

'How did the changes affect your life?' Alexis wondered. 'What happened to you when you first started touring with Britney. How where the reactions.'

'My friends where very happy for me. A bit jealous too, cuz I get to travel al around the world and meet all of their favorite celebrities. So when I get back home and I've met someone, I always try to get an autograph for my friends.' Angela smirked. 'But most of the reactions I've gotten have been really good. Everybody's real happy about it. And I'm glad they like it, cuz when their happy so am I.'

'I can imagine their reactions.' Alexis said and smiled. 'Who's your personal favorite?'

'Geez. There's so many of them!' Angela cried. 'But okay, music wise... like the people I look up to are basically all the female artists. Madonna, Whitney Houston, Britney, of course. Mariah Carey... and I've said this before, she's so talented... God, I wish I had a voice like that.'

'Do you just dance or do you sing also?'

'I can sing. But I usually just dance.' Angela replied.

'What kind of music do you listen to when you're alone up in your room?' Alexis wondered.

'I can basically listen to any kind of music.' Angela said. 'But I mostly listen to a lot of "boybands", R&B music...'

'I heard you say boybands...any specific group?'

'Specifics... well yeah kinda, I really like the Backstreet Boys. Their music is really good. I dance to it most of the time and I sing along quite a bit.'

'You've met them at the MTV Awards. What was that like? Are you a fan of theirs?'

'Well fan... I think that's a bit much. I like the guys, very much. Their really nice guys and they make really good music. I was honored to be on the same stage with them.' Angela said.

'What do you think of their new album? Black & Blue?'

'I don't have my own copy yet. But what's heard is really good. Very mature, and like I was saying to my best friend the other day: their getting better with each album they produce.' Angela explained. 'Two thumbs up for the boys.'

'There's a rumor goin' 'round about you and Nick Carter... what can you tell me about that?' Alexis curiously informed.

'Me and Nick Carter...' Angela repeated. Her mind drifted back to the night they spent together in her room... and the day after, him gone without a trace... without a word. 'What kind of rumor?'

'I've been told you two are romantically involved... Is this true?'

'Romantically involved...' Angela said and grinned. 'No Alexis. Like so many others about him, this is just another rumor. Nick Carter and I are not romantically involved.'

'Alright. So it's not Nick Carter who has your heart. Is there perhaps anyone else you're interested in?' Angela shook her head.

'Beside from a few crushes here and there... no, right now I'm not involved with anyone. And I'm enjoying it. And anyway, I don't think I would be a very good girlfriend.' Angela explained with a hint of sadness lingering in her voice. 'I'm away too much. It wouldn't work out...'

'That's a shame.' Alexis thought.

'Yes, it is.' Angela mumbled. 'Next...'

'If you could go on a date with anyone...who would you chose?' Alexis asked. Angela smiled.

'Geez, there's so many cute guys out there... I really don't know who to pick.' She said.

'Nick Carter maybe...' Alexis suggested. Angela sighed and shook her head.

'No... that would never work out.' She replied, heartbreak and pain where written all over her face. 'I'd rather go out with his friend Brian, but please... don't print that.'

'I won't, I promise.' Alexis said. 'Well ehm... I think we've worked through most of our questions. Could we take some pictures of you?'

'Of course. Why don't I show you my studio?' Angela suggested.

'That would be really awesome.' Alexis admitted.

'Alright then. Let's go.'

Angela brought Alexis and her cameraman, Joel, to her studio where she danced for a few minutes. Joel went home that day with enough video and photo material to start his own TV show and fanclub website.

'Well, our time is up.' Alexis said. 'I'll send you a copy of the magazine before it's printed, so that you can give your last opinion.'

'That's nice. To take a last look at the interview, to make sure you're not printing anything bad 'bout me.' Angela snickered.

'Yeah, something like that.' Alexis admitted. 'Well, it's been really great being here with you today. Thank you for having us.'

'Your welcome to come back anytime.' Angela said. Alexis promised to come by again and with that the two stars split.
