'Boys ready?' Fatima asked.

'YEAH!!' the boys replied.

'Band ready?' Kevin asked.

'OH YEAH!!' the band replied.

'Then I guess there's nothing left for me to say then...' Trey began.

'We've got a B...A...C...K...S...T...R...double E...T...that's backstreet, it makes backstreet.' They all sang together.

'And we're the BOYS!' the boys added.

'What are we gonna do tonight?' Brian asked.

'We're gonna kick butt!' AJ replied.

'And why are we gonna kick butt?' Trey asked.

'Cuz we're BACKSTREET, we're BACKSTREET!' the boys cried. 'LET'S DO IT!'

'Good luck y'all. Go get 'em boys!' Fatima said and hugged each of the boys, wishing them luck.

'Let's get out there a kick off the world tour.' Howie said as they walked up to the stage.

"Are you all ready for the best of the best?" a voice asked. "We call 'em: The Wonder Boys, but y'all know 'em by the name: The Backstreet Boys!"

The fans went wild as the lights dimmed and the band began to play.

'Hey y'all! It's so great to be back!' Brian said and waved.

'It's hot in here tonight.' Kevin told the crowd. 'It's good to be back in the saddle again in front of all you people, and it's good to feel your love.'

'Aight. Let's get this baby rollin'!' AJ cried.

The boys, backed by a six-piece band and nine dancers, kicked off the show with "Everyone". They swiftly followed that with "Larger Than Life", and then slipped into a mellower gear with several R&B ballads. During their dance numbers, the band performed some light choreography, but for the most part let a supporting crew of nine dancers show off their routines. The show-stopper came about 10 songs into the set, when the group invited the audience to watch during one of their half-dozen wardrobe changes.

'Do You like these outfits we're wearing now?' AJ asked. 'Why don't you guys come down into our dressing rooms and watch us change?'

The audience erupted, and the Boys, one by one, piled into a wardrobe 'trunk' and disappeared beneath the stage. A backdrop doubling as a projection screen showed the group changing shirts and hamming it up. The Boys emerged to perform a few ballads, including "How Did I Fall In Love with You?" and "Time", extending their arms and pointing randomly at the audience, many of whom tried to get closer.

The Backstreet Boys closed the show with three dance-heavy numbers "Everybody", "Get Another Boyfriend" and "The Call", before vanishing and returning for one encore, "Shape of My Heart".

'I'm beat...' Nick whined as he dropped himself on a couch in the dressing room.

'We're all pretty spiked Nick.' Kevin added as he drank his bottle of Mountain Dew.

'This was so cool!' AJ cried as he ran into the dressing room.

'Calm down Bone.' Brian pleaded. 'We're all pretty beat so please, keep it down a bit will ya.'

'Aight...'cuz you guys say so.' AJ said and sat down next to Nick.

'Guys, I want to congratulate you on a magnificent performance.' Manager Jeff said.

'We did our very best Jeffy-boy.' Kevin said and smiled.

'It felt so good to be out there again.' Nick sighed. 'Feel the energy building with every song we did. It was truly amazing.'

'Yeah Nick, it was amazing.' Mike said. 'Are you fit enough to do an interview?'

'I'm not tired at all.' Howie said and smiled.

'What 'bout you guys?' Mike asked.

'I guess we could do an interview.' Kevin said. 'Y'all agree?'

'Sure.' Nick said.

'Why not.' Brian added.

'Aight, then that's settled. It's for "Rolling Stone". They wanna publish a special Black & Blue concert issue.' Jeff explained.

'Sounds cool.' Howie figured.

'It is!' Mike said and handed them the latest copy of the magazine.

'Oohh Nicky.' AJ howled. 'Look who's on the cover!'

'Huh?' Nick mumbled as he looked at the magazine cover. Angela stared right in his face. 'Hey!'

'Pages 23 till 26.' Brian stated.

'Thnx man.' Nick smirked and flipped to the right page.

Alexis: What kind of music do you listen to when you're alone up in your room?

Angela: I listen to a lot of pop music. Ehm... I think the Backstreet Boys are really good. They make great music and the guys are really nice.

Alexis: What do you think of their new album?

Angela: Black & blue, right? I don't have my own copy yet. But what I heard was really good. Very mature, their getting better with each album they produce. (nods enthusiastically) Two thumbs up for the boys.

'Did you guys read that?' AJ wondered.

'What?' Howie asked.

'She likes our album.' AJ replied.

'Cool.' Kevin said and red on. 'How 'bout this piece...'

Alexis: There's a rumor goin' 'round about you and Nick Carter... what can you tell me about that?

Angela: (gives me a confused look) Me and Nick Carter... What kind of rumor?

Alexis: I've been told you two are romantically involved... Is this true?

Angela: (a grin spreads across the girls face) Romantically involved... No Alexis. Like so many others about him, this is just another rumor. Nick Carter and I are definitely not romantically involved.

Alexis: Would you wanna be involved?

Angela: With Nick?

Alexis: Not in particular. Just, with anyone?

Angela: Neh, I wouldn't be a very good girlfriend. I'm away too much. I wouldn't be fair to him.

'Too bad Nicky-boy.' AJ mumbled. 'She ain't lookin' for a boyfriend.'

'Better luck next time.' Howie added.

'Or you could just go find another girl...' Brian suggested. Nick remained silent as he searched through the rest of the article to see if he was mentioned any more.

Alexis: What was it like when you first saw yourself on TV? What where you thinking?

Angela: I was screaming and running around the house! I called all my friends and told them to watch MTV. (she smiles) I went ballistic. It's really weird to look at yourself. Cuz the only thing you're really looking at is the way you look and they way you behave. I'm afterwards always scared that I might have said something dumb or stupid. Ya know.

Alexis: But you where great. So there was no need to worry.

Angela: I guess...

You where more than just great... Nick sighed. Oh God, did he missed that girl. Hearing her say that she wasn't looking for a boyfriend, was very painful to him. A part of him kept telling the rest to go after her, to tell her how much he was in love with her. But he never came around to doing it...

Alexis: If you could go on a date with anyone...who would you chose?

Angela: (smiles) Geez, there's so many cute guys out there...I really don't know who to pick.

Alexis: Nick Carter maybe...

Angela: (sighs and shakes her head) No, I don't think so...that would never work out.

There goes the only chance I ever had... I totally blew it... Nick thought.

'Nick, you alright?' Brian asked and sat down next to his friend.

'Why wouldn't I be?' Nick wondered.

'Well, we all know how you feel about Angela. You haven't been hiding that fact... it must be painful to read that she wouldn't even go out on a DATE with you...' Brian thought.

'I guess...' Nick mumbled while he stared blindly at the pictures.

'She's gorgeous, isn't she?' Brian admitted. Nick nodded.

'She's an angel...' Nick added. 'I miss her...'

'I know ya do.' Brian whispered and wrapped an arm around Nick's shoulder.

'You'll be alright.'

'Yeah, I know...' Nick mumbled. 'Why don't we go play some Nintendo?'

'Can't buddy.' Brian said. 'We've got that interview, remember?'

'Oh yeah. Now I do.' Nick sighed and fell back into his seat.

'You'll do great, trust me.' Brian knew.
