Three days after the audition, Angela received a phone call. 'Ann Claiborne speaking.'

'Good afternoon. This is Susan Horton.' She said when Angela's mother picked up the phone.'Is your daughter home?'

'Yes, she is practicing in the studio.' Ann said. 'If you'll wait a second, then I'll go get her for you.'

'I'll wait.' Susan said. Ann ran outside to get her daughter.

'Angie! Phone!' she had to raise her voice to make herself heard.

'Thanks mum.' Angela said and picked up the phone.

'Angela speaking.' She said friendly.

'Hello Angela. This is Susan Horton, we met at the audition.'

'Yes, I remember. How are you?' Angela asked.

'I'm doing fine. And you?'

'I'm great! I was dancing around a bit.' Angela said and added. 'I'm trying to work out a new routine.'

'That's wonderful. But your new routine is going to hafta wait.' Susan said. 'Your new dance instructor will arrive later today. And your first lesson, of course, is today as well.'

'That's great!' Angela said exited. 'I can hardly wait!'

'That's the spirit.' Susan said. 'That's all for now. I hope you and the instructor will get along.'

'I'm sure we will.' Angela said. 'I'm a very loving person.'

'And so is he. You'll become great friends.' Susan knew. 'Well, goodbye Angela. Good luck.'

'Thank you Susan. Goodbye.'

So... he's coming today, Angela said to herself. I gotta take a shower! Angela ran inside and jumped into the shower.

Angela was dancing again when the instructor arrived. 'Good day.' He said when Ann opened the door. 'I'm Kyle Robinson, your daughters new dance instructor.'

'Oh hello. We've been expecting you. My name is Ann Claiborne, Angela's mother.' Ann said and shook his hand. 'Come in.'

Kyle smiled and walked into the large hallway. 'You've got a lovely house Mrs. Claiborne.' Kyle said.

'Please, call me Ann.' Ann said smiling. 'I'll introduce you to my daughter.'

'That won't be necessary Ann.' Kyle said politely. 'I'll introduce myself.'

'Alright. If you insist.' Ann said. 'The studio is through that door.' Kyle smiled at Ann and walked into the studio.

As always, Angela was too busy to hear him come in. Kyle sat down in one of the chairs and watched her dance. When she finished he applauded. 'Very nice.' He said smiling, giving poor Angela a heart attack.

'Oh...' she said under her breath. 'I didn't hear you come in.'

'That's okay. I'm sorry if I scared you.' He said friendly.

'You must be my new dance instructor.' She figured and walked up to him.

Kyle got up from his chair and shook her hand. 'Yes, my name is Kyle Robinson. I'll be your teacher for the next 2 weeks and maybe even longer.' He said.

'I'm Angela, my friends call me Angie or Ann. Welcome to my studio.' Angela said smiling.

'It looks very professional.' Kyle said as he walked around.

'My father built it for me when I turned 18. He would have given me a car, but I wanted a dance studio... so he built me one.' Angela proudly explained. 'It's my pride and joy.'

'It sure is something to be proud of. Your father did a fabulous job.' Kyle said. 'Shall we begin?'

'Yes, of course.' Angela replied smiling. Kyle placed his bag on the table and opened it. The bag was filled with all sorts of tapes and CD's. Kyle picked a video and went over to the VCR. He shoved it in and pressed play. Angela took the remote and turned on the TV. They sat down and watched the video.

'This is the dance instruction video for All I have to give.' Kyle said as they watched the people on the screen dance.

'That looks easy.' Angela said, pressed pause, got up from her chair and tried a few steps.

'That was great. But bend your head a little more. And try to imagine the hat in your hand.' Kyle said, stood next to her and showed her.

'Like this...' Angela said and tried again.

'Yeah. You're a quick learner Angie.' Kyle said and pressed play. Angela smiled at his remark.

Kyle walked over to the table and picked the list out of his bag. 'Wow! I overlooked this the first time.' He said and looked at Angela. 'You like to make things as hard as possible, don't ya?'

'What do you mean?' Angela asked.

'You chose Larger than life and That's the way I like it! Those are the 2 hardest songs in the entire show! Even the guys can't do them correctly!' Kyle explained.

'The guys??' Angela repeated.

'Yeah, the Backstreet Boys.' Kyle added. 'We all practice together... and they always mess up... Well, everybody messes up this routine. It's just too damn difficult!'

Angela made a promise to herself that she wouldn't rest until she could do the routine without errors.
'Shall we continue watching?' Kyle suggested as he sat down again. Angela nodded and curled up in the seat next to him. They watched the tape 4 times.

'Wanna try?' Kyle asked.

Angela nodded enthusiastically. 'Alridy then.'

Kyle took a CD from his bag and placed it in the stereo. 'I'll show you the routine.' Kyle said and took the opening position. He started to dance as soon as Angela pressed play.

I don't know what he does to make you cry
But I'll be their to make you smile
I don't have a fancy car, to get to you
I'd walk a thousand miles

I don't care if he buys you nice things
Does his gifts come from the heart-I don't know.....
But if you where my girl.....
I'd make it so we'd never be apart

But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give my world to you,
but love is all I have to give

When the boys sang about the fancy car, Kyle pretended to be driving. Angela sat in her chair and smiled happily. Not in her wildest dreams did she ever imagine being excepted at the dance academy... and never even once, did she hope to have a dance teacher who was as hansom as Kyle. He looked a lot like the man from her dreams.

'Angela. Will you try it with me?' Kyle asked and reached out his hand.

Angela grabbed it and walked over to the dance floor.

'Okay. We're gonna do this together and step by step. Okay?' Kyle suggested.

'If there is anything you want to know... don't hesitate to ask.'

'Kay. Let's do this.' Angela said and they waited until the song started again.

~*~*~*(Two days later)*~*~*~

'Angie! You're amazing!' Kyle said surprised. 'We've been working together for less than 2 days and already you know the entire routine!' Angela smiled.

'Yeah Kyle. But face it; with a teacher like you... how can I fail.'

'I guess you're right. The girl found a way to my heart!' Kyle stated and sighed.

'And anywayz. All I have to give wasn't that hard...' she added.

'You little brat!' Kyle shouted and chased her through the studio.

'Kyllllllleeee! Noooooooooo! Heeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllppppppppp meeeeeeeee!' Angela shouted.

Kyle jumped her and pushed her to the floor. 'Got ya!' he said and triumphed over his victory. 'Let's get back to work.'

'K.' Angela said and laughed at Kyle's face.

'I'm happy to inform you that I've made a list.' He started but Angela interrupted him.

'So you finally got your sorry ass to do some work...' she said and smirked.

'Shut up will ya!' Kyle said and continue his story. 'Like I was saying. I decided the order of the songs. I figured we'd better do Don't want you back and Larger than life first. And we'll save That's the way I like it until last. What do ya say?'

'Sounds a-o-kay to me.' Angela said.

'Oh, and there's another thing. I'm gonna have to teach you 2 different versions to That's the way I like it. Susan called and she told me that she couldn't get the jury to decided on which version they want you to dance. So she figured, I should teach you both the new and the old one.' Kyle explained with a rather sour look on his face.

'That's bad... right?' Angela figured.

Kyle nodded. 'Yeah. The new version is a lot cooler than the first... but it's also very complicated.'

'Well. I'm willing to learn.' Angela said smiling.

'You're the ideal student... you know that, don't ya? You're willing to learn at any expense.' Kyle figured.

Angela nodded and flashed her most loveable smile at him. 'Now let's get moving!' she suddenly shouted. 'I only have 2 weeks! Not 2 YEARS!'

'Okay miss! Let's get this baby on the road!' Kyle said and showed Angela the basic moves for Don't want you back. Angela had an instant crush with the song. She loved the beat and the words where even better.

'This is a great song!' Angela said after she danced the routine for the first time.

'Yeah. It's a real crowd blower! The guys get up on stage and when they do this song... it's like a bomb explodes! I can't describe it. The crowd go wild! And so do the guys!' Kyle explained trying to express the vibe.

'I can't wait to show this routine to Beverly.' Angela said. 'She'll want to learn it as well!'

'Ask her to join us sometime.' Kyle suggested. Angela glanced at him.

'You would teach her?!' she said surprised. 'That would be awesome! She'll love it!'

'How about... tomorrow?' Kyle suggested.

Angela nodded and freaked out. 'I can't believe I'm gettin' to share this with my best friend!' she shouted and made summersaults through the studio.

'Angie! Relax!' Kyle said smirking. 'You're gonna overdo it!'

'No, I never overdo anything! Just wait, I'll show you! You'll be surprised.' she said. 'Let's get back to the routine!'

They danced until it was time for Kyle to go home. 'Are you sure you're not staying for dinner?' Angela asked.

'Yes. Thank you mum for the invitation. But I gotta get home. My mum is expecting me and I'm supposed to report back to Susan after I get home.' He explained.

'Kay. Then I guess we'll be seeing each other tomorrow.' Angela figured.

'Yeah. You where great today Angie.' Kyle said and hugged her. 'I'll see you and your friend tomorrow.'

'Yeah. I'll make sure she's here. Bye Kyle.' Angela waved until he was out of sight.

Then she rushed over to the phone to call Beverly.
