'You must be Angela's new dance instructor.' Ann figured when a young man came at the door.

'Yes. My name is Brian Gately.' Brian said and shook Ann's hand.

'I'm Ann Claiborne, Angela's mother.' She said.

'I thought so.' Brian said. Ann already thought he was a charming young man.

'My daughter will be so happy to see you.' Ann said.

'Why do you think that?' Brian asked.

'Angie has missed dancing so much. Professional dancing, I mean. Her last instructor was such a sweetheart.' Ann explained.

'I hope she'll except me.' Brian said.

'What do you mean?' Ann asked.

'Well, I overheard everybody say that Kyle Robinson was such a great teacher. And I don't know if I can be that good.'

'Oh come on Brian.' Ann said. 'You'll be great. I know you will.'

'You really think so?' Brian asked.

'Yes, I really think so.' Ann replied. 'I'll take you to my daughter.' Ann said and walked through the kitchen to the studio, closely followed by Brian.

'Angela, honey.' Ann said. 'Your new instructor is here baby.' Angela looked up from her homework and stared at her mother. She slowly got up and came towards them.

'Hello. My name is Angela.' She said as she shook his hand. 'Nice to meet you.'

'I'll leave you two alone.' Ann said and left.

'Hi Angela. My name is Brian Gately. And I'm your new instructor for the next 2 weeks.'

'Great.' Angela said and forced herself to smile.

'Shall we begin?' Brian suggested.

Why are all those dance instructors the same?! Angela asked herself. They're all hansom but so damn straight to the point!

She's gorgeous! Brian told himself. Maybe we'll be more than friends? It could happen

'Okay Angela. Let's start with Crazy. It's an old song, from the first album. But the choreography is very difficult. Britney herself made it up.'

Brian explained and popped at tape in the VCR. They watched for hours before they finally started dancing.

Finally! Angela thought. My butt was starting to get soar from all the sitting! I haven't moved in hours, now I'm gonna hafta warm-up all over again!

She was trying to concentrate on her dancing but she just couldn't! her mind kept drifting back to that day. When she closed her eyes she could see his face and his smile.

'Angela.' Brian said as he tapped her shoulder. 'What are you thinking about?'

'Nothing much Brian.' She replied. 'I'm sorry. I'm just not feeling very well.'

'Oh. Why didn't you say so earlier?' Brian asked. 'Shall I go home? We can continue tomorrow if you feel better then?'

'That's a great idea Brian.' Angela answered. 'I'm really sorry about all this...'

'No need to be sorry. It can happen to any of us.' Brian figured.

'I'll just leave my stuff her and than I'll see you in the morning. Okay. Get well soon.'

'I will. Thank you, see you tomorrow.' Angela said and sat down in one of the chairs. Brian waved as he left the studio.

Finally I'm alone again! Now I can use all my time to concentrate on my... crush.

Angela was lost in thoughts when her mother entered the studio. 'What's this all about young lady?' she asked.

'Oh mum.' Angela said and bounced up. 'I... wasn't feeling very well.'

'You're lying!' Ann figured. Angela stared at her mother and then forced herself to look away.

'Yes, you're right.' She admitted. 'I'm so sorry mum.'

'That's okay.' Ann said. 'But why? What's wrong with you honey? You've been acting like this for over a week now. I'm starting to get worried.' Angela thought long and hard about the things she was going to tell her mother. But she couldn't lie to her! She never lied before and she wasn't gonna start because of something this. natural.

'I'm in love mum.' She finally managed to say.

'That's wonderful!' Ann exclaimed. 'I always thought Kyle would be the perfect man for you.'

'Kyle?!' Angela repeated.

'Yes, isn't he the one you're in love with?'

'No! It's the guy I met at the dance exams! He helped me do That's the way I like it. Oh god mummy. He's so cute, and he's nice and his eyes... his face... and his smile! Oh god he's perfect!' Angela explained drifting into her own dream world.

'He seems nice. What's his name?' Ann asked.

'That's the problem!' Angela exclaimed and explained everything to her mum.

'I see...' Ann said. She felt sorry for Angela but if Susan told her to stay away from him... she must have a good reason to keep her from meeting him? She hated to see her daughter in such pain but there was nothing she could do...

Angela was up in her room when the phone rang.

'Angela Claiborne.' She whispered.

'Somethin' wrong Ann?' Jennifer asked.

'Oh hi Jen.' Angela said and tried to sound happy. 'Nothin' much.'

'I don't believe you!' Jennifer exclaimed. 'Why don't you stop by?'

'Yeah, I think I'll do that.' Angela said, her mood immediately changed.

'Okay then we'll talk when you get here k?'

'Yeah, okay. Bye girl.' Angela rushed down the stairs and passed her father in the kitchen.

'Hey babe. What's the rush?' he asked.

'I'm goin' over to Jen's house. Could you tell mum, I'll be back for dinner?'

'Sure thing darlin'. Have a good time.'

'I will. Bye daddy.' Angela said and ran into the garage. She had to tell Jennifer about her crush. She just had to!

~*~*~*(At Jennifer's house)*~*~*~

'Hey there Angie.' Jennifer's brother Lance said as he opened the door.

'Come in.'

'Hi Lance.' Angela said and smiled. 'I'm here to see Jen.'

'Yeah, she's waiting in the living room.' Lance said and stepped aside to let her in. He stared at her butt as she passed him.

Oh my god! She has the most amazingly looking ass I have ever seen! I can't wait to hold it! Lance thought as he licked his lips. He hadn't told anybody about his crush on Angela. Eventhou it had been going on for years.

'Angie!' Jennifer exclaimed, bounced up from the couch and hugged her best friend.

'Hi Jen.' Angela said. 'I've missed ya.'

'Yea, me too.' Jennifer replied smiling. The girls sat down after they went into the kitchen to get a drink. 'So, tell me what's on your mind.'

'Nothing...' Angela whispered. 'And you expect me to believe that?!' Jennifer exclaimed. 'I don't think so sister!'

'Okay, okay. There's this guy.' Angela gave in. 'But can we go upstairs to talk about this.' Jennifer nodded, picked up her drink and headed for the staircase.

~*~*~*(In Jennifer's room)*~*~*~

'So, tell me.' Jennifer said before they entered her room.

'I met this guy at dance exams. And he was so hot! You'd love him too...' Angela whispered. She followed Jennifer inside. As soon as she closed the door behind herself, she froze to the ground. Staring at her from the other side of the room... was the guy she met at her dance exams... the one she fell in love with! Jennifer stared at her friend who stood still against the door.

'Are ya okay Angie?' she whispered.

'He... it's... oh my god!' Angela gasped.

'What's wrong? Tell me!' Angela raised her arm and pointed out to the poster on the wall. Jennifer turned and smiled at the poster. 'It's only a poster you know!'

'Yeah but... he's the one...' Angela whispered.

'The one? What are you talking 'bout girl? Which one?!' Jennifer asked. Then suddenly a few pieces of the puzzle slid into place. Angela fell down to the floor, not taking her eyes of the poster for a second.

'He's the guy... I met at the exams!' Angela finally managed to say.

'He's the one I danced with.the guy I'm in love with.'

'You're in love with him?' Jennifer repeated as she glared at the poster.

'Yes.' Angela exclaimed. 'Who is he?'

'Oh great! It gets even better! You don't know who he is?!'

'No. Who is he?' Angela repeated.

'His name is Nick Carter. He's a Backstreet Boy. Ever heard of them?!'

Angela nodded. 'I did a few dance routines to their songsoh my god. It's him! Why didn't I recognize him before? I've seen him in your room a million times! And at Beverly's too. She says he's cute.'

'Cute?! That my dear, is an understatement! He's not just cute. He's far beyond cute! And he has the most incredible butt you have ever laid your eyes on.' Jennifer sighed. 'I'd just love to feast my eyes on his naked body...'

'Jennifer!' Angela exclaimed. 'Behave!'

'Why?! He's gorgeous and hard to ignore! You've seen him! You can't take your eyes of off him!'

'You've got a point there Jen.' Angela admitted. 'Do you have a... picture of him... for me?'

'Sure, loads.' Jennifer replied.

'Great! I haven't got anything of him. I'd love to have a picture... so that I can look at him all day long' Angela sighed with pleasure and delight as Jennifer shoved an ever-so-adorable picture into her hands.

'But remember baby girl.' Jennifer said. 'Hold on to this picture and guard it with your life! This is mister gorgeous in a very extraordinary position. I too love this picture but because you're my soul mate. I'll let you have it.'

'Thanks a million Jen. It sure is amazing!' Angela exclaimed as she studied the picture.

Nick wearing a football jersey, his hair slid back as he curiously sneak a peek over the top of his sunglasses. A rather rare picture because Nick is hardly ever seen without a cap and with sunglasses.

'Now I know why I love him so much.' Angela figured as she rushed through her friends interview collection.

'His smile, those eyes and that face. It's perfect.' Jennifer admitted.

The girls talked about Nick and the other guys all day long. Until it was time for Angela to go home.

'See ya 'round Angie.' Jennifer said. 'Of course you will! See ya!' Angela cried as she sped away on her bike.
