I laid lazily in my bed thinking about the woman in my dreams, her lips, her eyes, the form of her body... all perfect. Nothing like Jordayn.

I stood up and looked out the window and onto the back porch. Jordayn and Brian were lounging outside underneath and umbrella, Jordayn's honey blonde hair was in a slender braid and pulled through a North Carolina basketball hat. She had on a white tennis skirt and a baby blue tank top that matched her hat. She sipped an ice tea with a lemon on the side. I thought to the woman again, she would never be caught dead looking like that. She would wear silk and lace, and pearls. She would sip wine not ice tea, and she wouldn't lift a finger to play sports. I let a smile crawl across my face with the memory.

Even though she was just a dream I knew that I had to break up with Jordayn. I took my dream as a sign. It wouldn't be hard breaking up with someone so imperfect as Jordayn.

I sat outside with my cousin after coming back from a tennis match he and I had. Brian I can feel Nick looking at us, somethings wrong. I think the Queen got into his dreams. I said through thought. "Brian you did good in tennis today, and you say that you never played before!!!" I said out loud. We had to hold two seprate conversations, in case someone stumbled onto us talking.

You're right Jordayn, something has happened to him, but I'm not sure what, can the Queen possibly enter his mind?

I shrugged not realizing. We were quiet on the outside but on the inside, in our minds... we were discussing how to save Nick.

What did your mother and sister say Jordayn? What is some way that you can save him? He asked.

I looked up at him and watched his eyes scan the waves beyond the back porch. I looked into his mind and read his thoughts. He knew I was doing it and left them willingly open. I scanned through them, they were his memories. The memories he had of the good Nick, the Nick he loved as a little brother, the Nick that was crazy and wild, and the Nick I wanted to be with.

Well? he asked when I was done.

I stared at him and shrugged again. My mother told me that the Queen is so powerful that she can enter ones dreams. I-I don't know how to save him. I let my one thought run through my mind, as I knew Brian was scanning my mind. I had to give up, I didn't want to but I had to.

"I have an idea!" Brian shouted out loud. I looked at him with a clueless look.

"We can't give up... Maybe... Well maybe we can make him blind again..."

I stared in disbelief, the thought of Nick blind scared me, I had come to help his sight not take it away. I thought about it some more.

I sighed as I looked at my dinner plate. It looked appetizing, but I wasn't hungry. A month before hand I probably would have never seen the meal in front of me. I smiled pleasingly thinking how I see the woman, if I was blind could I really do that. I continued staring at my mashed potatoes and seen a black spot literally jump.

Confused I looked at Jordayn and Brian who sat across from me. Jordayn lifted her eyes to an occasional glance. While Brian kept his head down and silently ate.

My vision flashed, and I had a total black out. I blinked it away for a few moments then it was restored. I sighed thinking it was gone. But then another black out, only longer this time. Almost five minutes of total blackness. This wasn't the normal blurs I got, this was different. I dropped my fork.

"Nick is something wrong?" Brian asked.

The third black out didn't seem to be going away. And I knew... I was blind again.
