*3 Months Later*

"Nick, you have to introduce me to this new girl. You have been dating her for 3 months now. Can't I meet her?" Brian pleaded on the phone.

"Bri, this aint my fault, you're up in Georgia. If you were seriously considering meeting her, then you would come down and visit."

"What's your problem with everyone all of a sudden? Howie said he keeps stopping by, but your always 'busy'."

"Listen, I gotta go. I'm working on a project, that's all. And its really important to me. If you want to meet Elly, come on down this weekend." Nick scratched his head puzzled holding a picture of Ali. He dropped it on the table and picked up a picture of Elly. Her pictures always turned out fuzzy. He still had not gotten a good picture of her.

"What's this project about?"

"Ali."

"Nick, I know you loved her and always will, but its been a long time. I dont mean to sound pushy, but even Ali's mom has gotten over it. She's gone Nick and she will be for the rest of your life. Get over it."

"I'm not so sure your right about that." Nick compared the pictures.

"What do you mean? I saw her body Nick. She's gone."

"Come down this weekend. I'll show you what I mean."

"Fine, but you better have your house clean. Leigh and I dont tolerate messy stuff," he laughed.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Nick laughed back, "And you know me, my house could never be busy!" he laughed sarcastically.

"Okay, Nick, wife is a calling me, so I best be going."

"You're so whipped," Nick laughed and hung up.

"Who was that?" Elly walked in and sat by Nick on the couch.

"Brian, he's gunna visit this weekend with Leigh. They can't wait to meet you."

"What was that project you were talking about?" Elly asked him seriously and staring him straight in the eye.

"The paranormal. I think I'm in contact with a ghost," he blurted out, then remembered who he was talking to, "Just kidding," he laughed.

"A ghost? Like someone you know or just a ghost roaming around?"

"Nevermind, forget it. I was kidding. The real project is just, um, um, thinking about us." he made up.

"How sweet!" she kissed his cheek.

"Yeah, I know."

"OH! I gotta go. I'm gunna be late for work!" she jumped up. He grabbed her waist and pulled her back on the couch.

"Stay!" he whined, "Be late."

"Nick, I can't be late."

"Please? I really want you to stay with me today!" he tickeled her mercifully.

"Nickolas Carter!" she shrieked. Nick stopped when he heard Ali's voice from her mouth. He looked down at her and saw Ali.

"Whoa," he stood up and Ali's image dissappeard and Ellen's came back.

"What?" she asked innocently.

"You're um, I have to get out of here. I'm going to play some basketball at the gym. Bye hun," he picked up his bag and practically ran out.

"He's catching on," Elly mumbled to herself.
