I was lucky enough to be one of 500 fans to go to the record signing in London tonight. I went to get tickets on Tueday morning- getting up at 4am! But it was well worth it.
I arrived at the record store about 5pm and it was chaos! Hundreds of girls going crazy, lining up around the outside of the shop. My friend Sophie and I joined the end of the line- we bought the CD before hand and in the line I got the 2001 calender.
We were in the line outside for over an hour. A popular London new programme called London Tonight had cameras there and interviewed the boys (I watched it when I got home) and filmed us all waiting outside.
Finally, we got indoors and were led down to the lower-ground floor of the store. As we went down the stairs I saw Kevin and Nick but couldn't quite see the others. The line snaked around the whole shop- we were lining up down there for about an hour or two. It was so hot and stuffy so I was already feeling faint! While we were waiting they were playing BSB songs on the speakers, including some new ones! I heard The Call, Get Another Boyfriend, I Promise You and Everyone (which was playing as I met them). I talked to some fans while waiting, who were really nice.
Finally, we were nearing the front of the line. We were so close to the guys now and I was starting to freak out. I took some photos. They were acting so cute- I remember how Nick playfully put an arm on Kev's shoulder and they were talking to each other.
Then it was my moment! First was Brian, I put my calender on the table and he signed it. I also put my letters to them on the table. He was about to sign it right where Nick's face was, but Nick stopped him so he signed it in the corner. Nick was next... as he's my favorite, I was going crazy inside- but I remained calm. I wanted to ask him if I could hug him but I just blanked and couldn't speak apart from saying "Thanks!". So my friend Sophie asked Nick to hug he so he agreed and we hugged :-D It was so amazing! Sophie took a photo of us at that moment- Nick looks so cute in the pic but I look really bad! He signed my calender, then Kev, Howie and AJ signed it. They were all so sweet- they must have been tired after signing for two hours but they remained smiling. They talked to Sophie, who was remaining calm- Howie winked at her and AJ asked how she was. They might have talked to me too but it's all a blur so I can't remember.
Then it was over! When I got home I watched the video my parents had recored from the news programme. I got a better look at what they were wearing- Nick had on a pale shirt and his hair was hanging in his eyes. AJ had dark blue nailpolish on and short sleeves so you could see his tattoos. They all looked happy and relaxed.
I loved meeting the guys and I hope I get another oppertunity- next time I want to speak to them properly and hopfully not blank out again!

I have my photos developed and I got a scanner recently. I have so far made a small scan of one of my pics (at the top of this page). There will be some more (larger) pics soon... when I figure out how to use my scanner properly!
