Waking up in my own home was I think probably the best feeling in the world right now. I was so exhausted and being in my own bed made the night perfect. I woke up to no smell of pancakes, and since I was craving them I made a huge stack of chocolate chip pancakes and then remerged I was by myself. After stuffing myself, I took and shower and decided to go get my dog. At least than someone would make noise to keep me company. Charlie is the sweetest Yorkshire Terrier you'll ever meet.Pulling up in the driveway gave me an unhappy feeling...like I was breaking an entry. I knocked but no one was home, so I went around back to get the spare key to the house and let myself in like I used to.

"Charlie...where are you?" I was whispering in case someone was home and just didn't hear the doorbell. He jumped on my lap I was so happy to see him. I left a note on the refrigerator. And left...just as I was driving down the street I was saw Jane's car, lucky for me I had sunglasses on and just kept driving.Well, now I had the dog home, and I had eaten but I was still bored. So I just figured that someone would be home so I started dialing up.

"Hi is Greg home?"

"Yeah hold on who is this?"

"Sam."

"Oh Hey Sam, hold on a second,"

"OK..." I waited on the other line until I heard someone pickup and than another phone hang-up.

"Hello?"

"Um..Hey Greg it's me..Sam."

"Hey Sam haven't heard from you in a while, how was your tour?"

"How did you know?" I laughed.

"It's everywhere 'Florida's hip and happening new pop star rising to the top!'" I giggled

"Oh, OK dumb question than huh? Well, I know we use to hang out all the time until things got hectic but if you're not doing anything I'd like love to see you again."

"Yeah of course. I mean we HAVE been friends since like second grade!"

"OK great." I smiled to myself it would be nice to talk to someone who is down to earth.

"OK well if you're not doing anything tonight You can come over here..and we can rent some movies and just like hang out or something."

"OK sounds great."

"OK you can come over at around...8?"

"Cool 8 sounds great!" we both laughed.

"OK well I'll see you then and Greg it will be great seeing you again."

"You too Sam bye."

"Bye." We hung up. I was excited, I wasn't going to try and rebound off him because me and Greg have been friends for a while I called him because he's fun to be around and I know he wouldn't try anything with me. It was around 11 so I decided to go for a swim.

"Home at last! Only 3 more hours!"

"Hey Brok calm down before you have a heart attack." He gave me a grin, I know what he was thinking, he thinks I'm feeling better about being home. I guess I am but well it'll be hard. We were on our last hour of that tour bus and heaven only knows how happy I'll be to get off it.

"Hey anyone see my cell?"

"Lisa you left it in the bathroom I think..." she smiled at me

"Thanks." She left the room and came back with her phone. She sat on the couch and looked out the windows. I heard the dial tones...and I knew who she was calling.

"Hello?"

"Um...hi...Lisa?"

"Yes??"

"Oh my God hey."

"Oh my God S-..." she looked up at me smiled and left the room, I tried listening to what she was saying but she locked herself in the bathroom. I put my ear up against the door to try and listen.

"Hey Nicky, whatcha listening for?" surprised I jumped up it was A.J.

I put my fingers up to my lips "Sh..." he nodded and listened with me. I heard Lisa's muffled voice, laughter than silence. The door opened and both A. J and I feel in "Oof!"

"Good dogs." A.J smiled and we helped each other up.

"So who were you talking to?" Lisa whispered into his ear

"Oh..." I stared at the two of them

"Like I didn't know it was, her." Lisa giggled

"OK Nick it was her." I nodded

"See I knew it, I'm going to sleep I'll be at the back of the bus if anyone needs me." I stormed off to the back. God I hated how everyone handled this. I wish they'd all just leave it alone. Leave me alone. But I did wonder what they were talking about, what she was doing what she was wearing. From there I was totally zoned out in a fantasy land of my own. I recalled the time we went horse back riding. Sam had practically been on a horse her whole life and it was my very first time. She tried so hard to be serious while helping me. That was around two years ago, before we were going out, we were with Brian and Lauren. I also remembered when we were 12 she pinkie swore me in my tree house that we would be best friends forever. A lot of good her promises were. To think of all the broken promises. It wasn't fair, and now I was more mad at her than I was upset. Maybe if I saw Sam again I'd be able to move on with my life and she could do the same. Now more excited and very relieved I couldn't wait to get off that bus. I mean I'm turning 19 I'm not going to hang around for an eternity, and this bus wasn't going to hold me to it.

"Lisa how's it going?"

"OK I guess we're on our way home now, how come your home so early?"

"I'm not home early, your just a little late." She laughed and I heard an echo.

"Lisa where are you?"

"In the bathroom."

"Why?"

"Long story but um, I'll be home soon, I think Kevin will be home for dinner."

"Oh well Greg is coming over also but we'll stay up stairs in the movie theater so it's no sweat." I smiled I was happy that she'd be home soon.

"OK well I better go."

"OK see you later Lisa bye." We hung up. I took another shower, and finished blow drying my hair. I decided to wear my dark jeans with the cuff and an orange halter top that Nick had gotten me from an Indian Store. He said he thought I would like all the patterns and gems on it. I do. I took the leash from the hall closet and called for Charlie. When he came I took him for a walk around the block like I always do.

"Sam?" I felt like turning around and leaving but instead removed my sunglasses.

"Hey it is you! what's up?" Aaron ran across the street with Angel not too far behind him, "Hi guys, what have you been up to?" They both grinned "We're making decorations and 'Welcome Home' signs for Nick. B.J and Leslie are out back barbarqueing with Dad and Mom is cleaning the pool." Aaron nodded "When everyone is settled in the fellas and the crew are coming over for a party."

"Hey you should come." Aaron gave Angel a weird look but she didn't notice. Did they not know? Or did only Aaron? Did Nick and I really Break up? Or was I just imaging the whole thing? I smiled uneasily.

"I'll try, but maybe we should keep it between the three of us so just in case I can't make it no one is disappointed. Angel gave me a funny look.

"If you don't want to come because of Nick you can just say so It's not like we don't know." She went across the street and sat on the porch going back to whatever it was that she was doing. Aaron shrugged.

"Listen if you wanna come over and see the family than feel free, if not don't worry about it." I smiled "OK thanks Aaron I'll take that into consideration."

"Aight well I'll see you later Sam." I waved "Bye." I went around the block as quickly as possible that was the worst. I loved Aaron and Angel and to have them both hate me was a terrible feeling. I did kill some time however It was 5:30. After giving the dog his treat, I found my keys and went to the Stop & Shop in town. I ran into a few old friend but didn't stick around. I was in the parking lot when a group of teenage guys on bikes kept staring at me. I looked at them funny cause I didn't realize that people knew who I was in America. But I didn't know what to do I felt a little embarrassed but wasn't going to be rude so I waved. The boys kept staring and I giggled waved again smiled and got into my car. It was 6:30 when I got home I unpacked my groceries and checked the messages on the answering machine. Only Lisa's Mother called. I laid outside on the deck swing and shortly fell asleep

"Driving in my car! What a great Feeling! Going home to my house! What a great Feeling! Eating everything in sight! What a great Feeling! Seeing Nick smiling! What a great Feeling!" I was smiling and Brian laughed and Lisa giggled to herself in the back seat.

"All right B-rok don't get used to it." He rolled his eyes and turned up the radio.We pulled up in my driveway after dropping Lisa off. Aaron and Angel came running down the walkway with 'Welcome Home' signs in their hands. Brian and I got out of the car and they both dropped their signs and jumped into my arms.

"Hey guys," we hugged. My parents stayed on the porch. I waved.

"Hey Nick how was your trip?"

"It was pretty good little man." Aaron grinned.

"All right well I'll let this family reunion continue I've got food shopping to do." Brian hugged Aaron and Angel before he left. He said he'd come by after he did a few things.

My dad helped me bring my bags up to my room. The first thing I did was pick up the phone and start dialing up her number. After the first ring I hung up. I couldn't help but wonder though if she was thinking of me. I hope she knew I was thinking of her. Even though I wasn't supposed to. Even though I had promised myself not to. But for her I broke all rules for her. And for that I hated her. I despised her. All these negative thought were being feed into my mind. It got my so angry I took the nearest object to me and hurled it up against the wall. It was a picture of Sam and I on the beach when we were 7 or 8. The frame which was now shattered in pieces was a frame with shells on it that Sam made when she was 9 in an arts and crafts class she was in. I laid on my bed and stared at the shattered frame and the photo which was turned faced down. I didn't hear anything or anyone. I didn't hear my Mom call for me to go downstairs. I didn't even hear her when she screamed.

The door flew open "What the hell is your problem? Mom has been calling you for like hours" BJ cocked her head when I didn't answer and picked up my phone.

"Hey Brian it's BJ. I know you just got home but there's something wrong with Nick. He's in like a trance or something, I don't want to worry my Mom so do you think you could come by?"

"Sure, I'll be there in ten minutes." She hung the phone up and sat down on the bed.

"I should just call Sam up and tell her to come here so you two can settle this out. than maybe you can stop making your life and everyone else's life miserable."
