"Nick Carter, Francesca Graziano, and Paul Tot please report to the counselor’s office… IMMEDIATELY!" the camp counselor called over the speaker first thing the next morning. "Uh oh, I think you got caught!" Lysa said. "But who’s that tatertot kid? " Francesca joked. "I don’t know" Lysa said as they heard a knock at the door. "Come in." They called. It was Nick. "I think we were being spied on last night." He said as he came in. "Yea, well we better go, before he gets more mad." Francesca said, taking his hand as they walked towards the office. "Well, it looks like you two were getting some use out of the lake last night." The camp counselor told them as they walked in. "Well… we fell in." Nick came up with. "Yea, we were on the swing, and fell off." Francesca added. "Well, it doesn’t matter what happened, it matters that you snuck out of the bunks past curfew." He scolded. "We are sorry, we wont do it again." Nick apologized. "You better not. I will give you a warning for now, but if you sneak out again, I’ll have to send both of you home." He warned them. Just then Paul Tot came in. "Have a seat Paul, I’ll be with you in a moment." The counselor said. "Now, go on to breakfast." He told them, as they were walking out the door.
"Oooooooooh" was what everyone was saying when they entered the dining hall. "It’s no big deal… we just got a warning." Francesca said as they sat down with AJ , Lysa, Brian, Howie, and Kevin. "So… what exactly did you get in trouble for?" Brian asked. "We snuck out to the lake last night… and someone saw us." Nick explained. "And what happened?" Kevin asked nosily. "Now that is none of your business." Nick told him. Francesca reached under the table and grabbed Nick. Nick quick turned around to Francesca and his eyes widened. "Sorry, I thought it was your leg." She whispered in his ear. Nick was speechless, so he just smiled at her. "What are you all smiles for?" Howie asked. "I’m happy." Nick said as Francesca grabbed him again. "I’m really happy." Nick shrieked. "Whoa, I’m not gonna ask what’s goin on under the table." AJ joked. "GOOD!" Nick exclaimed. "Whoa…" AJ said, changing the expression on his face. "I’ve had enough of this… I’m gonna head over to the stalls for my riding lessons." Kevin said, leaving the table. The rest of the guys got to talking and Lysa and Francesca had a little chat. "What did you do to him?" Lysa asked with a smile. "Oh…. Nothing." Francesca replied. "Well, it didn’t look like nothing to me." Lysa exclaimed. "I was only being friendly." Francesca said. "Yea.. a little too friendly." Lysa said laughing. "Oh, you can never be too friendly with someone you like." Francesca said, taking Nick’s hand. "Well, I think we all better go, and leave these two to enjoy themselves." Brian teased. "Don’t do anything stupid girl." Lysa warned as AJ pulled her by the hand. "I won’t." Francesca replied.
"C’mon, let’s go." Nick said. "Where?" Francesca asked. "I don’t know… just somewhere where we can talk." He said. "Ok." She replied as they left the dining hall. "Where do you wanna go?" She asked him, still holding his hand tightly. "I don’t know… let’s just take a walk." He suggested. "Alright." Francesca said as they walked the path. They entered the woods and sat under a large tree. They were sitting there talking quietly. "So… what was that all about in there?" Nick asked with a grin. "I like you…a lot." She admitted, looking into his eyes. Nick smiled, then leaned over and kissed her. "WATER FIGHT!" Brian and AJ screamed, coming out from behind some trees. They both aimed their water guns at Nick’s pants, and pulled the trigger. The both of them started laughing. "Thanks guys… you can leave now." Nick said, trying not to act like a baby about what happened. The guys ran off laughing about the prank they had pulled. "Nick… you seem…uh…happy." Francesca said, moving to his lap taking his hands and putting them on her back. "Are you happy?" she asked him. " You could say that." He said smiling. "Lunch is ready.. everyone please report to the dining hall. Please do not run, there is plenty of food for everyone." The counselor called over the speaker. "This counselor is a jerk." Nick said, disappointed that they’d have to leave. They got up and started walking back to camp. "I can’t go in there… my pants are still wet!" Nick said. "Aww… Nicky." Francesca said laughing, as she looked at the big wet spot on his pants. "No one will notice." she told him. "Ya think so?" he asked. "No one is gonna pay attention to your pants." She told him. "Thanks a lot." He said, a little offended. "Well… except me." She replied. "Now that’s what I wanted to hear." He told her as he took her hand and walked towards the dining hall.
When they walked over to the table where the rest of the gang was sitting, everyone started laughing. "Hey Nick! What have you two been doing?" Brian asked while hysterically laughing. "Shut up Brian! You know that you did this to me!" Nick shouted. "Whoa there." Brian said. "Oh, you know what I mean!" Nick said, starting to get upset. " Aww, let’s stop picking on Nick now, before he gets upset." Howie teased. "C’mon Fran, let’s go sit at another table." Nick said. "No Nick, we’re sorry, it was only a joke. We’ll stop now." AJ apologized. "Fine." Nick said as he and Francesca sat down at the table. They soon got to talking about other things, and stopped teasing Nick. When lunch was over, they were told to go to the baseball field to play kickball.
That night, after dinner, Nick and Francesca went down to the lake to talk and get to know one another better. "Hey you two! We just wanted to know if you guys wanted to come with us, we’re gonna go swimming." AJ said. "That sounds like fun." Francesca said, looking at Nick. "Ok, we’ll meet you at the dock in ten minutes." Nick told them. "Alright, see ya then." Howie called. "I have to get my bathing suit on, you go ahead with them… I’ll catch up with you later." She told Nick, giving him a kiss. "Ok, see ya later." Nick said, as he watched her walk to her bunk house. When she got there, Lysa was in her bathing suit ready to leave. "Are you coming too?" She asked Francesca. "Yea… will ya wait for me?" Francesca asked as she went to the bathroom to put her suit on. "Yea." Lysa replied. When Fran came out they headed down to the lake.
When they got to the lake the guys were already all in the water. "Hey girls, come on in!" AJ shouted as Brian dunked him under the water. Lysa jumped right in and swam to AJ. "Is it cold?" Fran asked. "Not as bad as last night." Nick said. Francesca got onto a raft because she didn’t want to get in yet. She was floating around when she felt someone bump the raft underneath her. She gave a little scream and Nick came up from under the water. "You scared me." Francesca said. "Sorry." Nick apologized, putting his hands on the raft to keep himself afloat. They were talking for a few minutes, when Nick tipped Francesca’s raft over and she fell into the water. "Hey!" she said, coming up from the water. "Sorry." Nick said, laughing. "Why are you laughing?" Francesca pouted. "Cuz you’re so cute…you’re mascara is running." Nick said, wiping under her eye with his thumb. "Oh well…" Francesca answered, swimming to a part of the lake where she could reach the bottom. Nick swam after her. "Come here you." he said, pulling her into his arms. They started kissing when they heard laughing. "Yo! Nick, are you missing your pants?" Brian yelled, holding up a pair of swim trunks. "Shut up Brian! We’re just kissing!" Nick yelled back, turning around, seeing Brian holding up the trunks. "No they’re not mine!" Nick said. "Then whose are they?" Howie asked. "Yo, where did AJ and Lysa go?" Kevin asked. "Uh oh… I betcha I know who these belong to." Brian said swinging the shorts back and forth. "Who?" Kevin asked. "Kev, how dumb are you?" Howie asked. "Um…." Kevin replied in deep thought. "Man, I can’t be related to him." Brian said shaking his head in disappointment. Howie just laughed. "I don’t wanna go find him and interrupt..." Brian said. "Just leave them floating, he’ll find them." Howie suggested. "I got a better idea.. " Brian said with a prankster grin.
Brian, Howie, Kevin, Nick and Francesca left the lake and returned to their bunks. Nick walked Francesca to her bunk house. "Today was fun." He said, taking both of her hands. "Yea." Francesca agreed. "Well I’ll see ya on the bus tomorrow." Nick said. "Yea…save me a seat." Francesca said. "Of course." Nick said with a smile. He leaned in and gave her a kiss. "Good night Nick." Fran said, when they pulled away. "Night Fran." He said, turning to go back to his bunk house.
"Damn, where are my shorts?!" AJ shouted when he and Lysa swam back to the dock. "I told you that you should have held on to them." Lysa said laughing. "I know, but I didn’t think that they would float away. Oh no! They took them!" AJ exclaimed, searching the shore for his towel. "And my towel! What am I gonna do? I can’t get out naked! " AJ yelled. "You better keep your voice down so you don’t draw a crowd." Lysa joked. "Stop teasing me… I’m serious… what am I gonna do?" AJ asked. "I’ll go run back to your bunk and I’ll get something for you to wear… alright?" Lysa said. "You are a genius!" AJ exclaimed. "I’ll be right back." Lysa said, giving him a quick kiss. "Ok, but hurry… I don’t trust the fish." AJ joked. "I will." Lysa said running towards the bunks. When she knocked on the door, Kevin answered. "Hi Lysa, this isn’t your bunk… yours is on the other hill." He replied. "No kidding. Someone took AJ shorts, and he kinda needs them… so can I have something of his." Lysa said. "But it won’t fit you." Kevin replied. "Here…" Brian said handing her AJ’s shorts. "Don’t mind Kevin, this happens to him when he tries to think too hard." He continued. "Ok, thanks. See ya later." Lysa said running back to the lake.
"Here ya go babe." Lysa said, throwing the shorts into the lake. "Thanks doll." AJ said, putting his shorts on in the water, then coming out. "Boy it feels good to be dressed again… those fish were getting a little too friendly." AJ joked. "Awww… my poor baby." Lysa said, giving him a kiss. AJ took Lysa’s hand and walked her back to her bunkhouse. "Tonight was great." Lysa said squeezing his hand. "Yea…it was." AJ said giving her another kiss. "See ya tomorrow." Lysa said, going into the bunkhouse. "Yea. See ya then."
