BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Hrrmmpph," Heather groaned as she swatted at the alarm clock. She sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she looked over at her friend in the bed across from her. Kristy turned in bed slightly and stretched, a smile lingering on her lips.
"Sleep well?" Heather whispered, trying not to wake Jessica who didn't have to be at the convention that morning for any particular reason and was going to sleep in as long as she could.
"Mmmm, hmmm!" Kristy answered, stretching again, eyes still shut. "I had the most delicious dre..." she her eyes flew open and she sat up suddenly, looking around the room frantically. Her heart calmed and her breathing returned to normal as her gaze came to rest on the long-stemmed rose and phone number lying on the nightstand beside her.
"It wasn't a dream," Heather giggled. "He was real, and you'll have the pictures to prove it!"
Kristy looked at her friend and simply broke into a huge grin, "And I get to see him again tonight!" She grabbed one of her pillows and hugged it to her.
Kristy slipped out of bed, humming to herself as she gathered her things for her shower.
Jessica rolled over, "Do I hear singing?" She squinted against the light coming from the bathroom. They could hear the faint melody of "From This Moment On" as the shower started up. The two girls smiled at each other, happy that their friend was so happy. "He's not really my type," Jessica started, "but I have to admit, he seems really nice."
Heather nodded in agreement, "And talented, and charming..."
Both girls looked at each other, "And HOT!"

Kevin rolled over to look at his alarm clock. "Who could be calling me at this hour?" he mumbled as he reached for the phone on his nightstand. "Ello?"
"Morning sunshine!" A.J. yelled into the phone.
"Bone, what are you doing up at this time of the morning?" Kevin asked. "I would've expected you to be sleeping in after one of your late nights out."
"I will sleep in, as soon as I get to bed!" A.J. laughed. "But I wanted to see what plans you had for this week. Brian said you were going to see an old friend last night, but I thought if you didn't have anything else scheduled for the rest of the week, maybe you'd like to join me at some new clubs I want to check out."
"Actually, I'm planning on spending some more time around D-World this week," Kevin sat up in his bed, and smiled, thinking about the previous night. "Ya know, see more of my old buds, visit the old stompin' grounds..."
"Uh, huh," A.J. mumbled, "What's her name?"
"Why would you say that?" Kevin asked, trying to sound casual. He smiled as he remembered Kristy and her friends' feigned looks of innocence whenever they were really weren't.
"Oh, maybe 'cause I've known you for seven years, and I know when you're full of it!" A.J. laughed at his friend over the phone. "How'd ya meet her? Is she an old Disney friend?"
"No, although she would make a great castmember. She's got a great voice, and she says she can dance, and she's so pretty!" Kevin couldn't stop himself from gushing about Kristy.
"I repeat, how did you meet her?" A.J. chuckled to himself. From the way Kevin was going on, this girl had to pretty special. All the guys knew what how picky Kevin was.
"She was at the Brown Derby last night when I went to see my friend Jeff." Kevin told A.J. "I ended up hanging out with her and her friends pretty much all evening."
"And how is it you know she has a good voice?" A.J. asked, curious to hear more about the evening and the girl who had so obviously gotten Kevin's attention.
Kevin filled A.J. in on the highlights of the evening, smiling as he remembered how comfortable Kristy'd made him feel around her and her friends. "So, anyway, I'm planning on spending tonight with her and her friends again. And hopefully if tonight goes as well as last night, I'll see her more while she's here. "
"So what are we doing tonight?" A.J. asked with a laugh.
"I am going out dancing with Kristy and her friends, I have no idea what you are doing," Kevin laughed as he got out of bed. Since he was awake, he might as well get up and get his day started. He had a few things he wanted to do before this evening.
"Ah, com'mon Train! Please?!? I wanna go dancing tonight too. " A.J. wasn't about to give up. He was dying to meet this girl. Heck, if she was as great as she sounded, he might give Kev a run for his money.
"I'm not sure, A.J. This really isn't your type of club." Kevin knew his friends would want to meet Kristy sooner or later, but he would prefer it be later. "Tell ya what. If we go out Tuesday night, you can come with us." Kevin conceded.
"I'm gonna to hold ya to that!" A.J. planned on calling the other guys to fill them in as soon as he got off the phone with Kev. "And I expect a full report tomorrow... I can't believe you haven't even kissed her yet!"
Kevin could practically see A.J. shaking his head on the other end of the phone. It wasn't that he hadn't wanted to kiss Kristy last night... man he'd wanted to kiss her, and he almost did, several times. He thought back to the "Princesses Medley" of "Fantasmic!" and smiled. He'd been holding her hand throughout the show, and as Ariel and Prince Eric floated by, Kristy had turned to wink at him. He'd reached his hand up to cup the side of her face, and looked deeply into her amazing blue-green eyes. Just as he started to lower his head, he heard someone behind him sigh "Ooohh!" Since he wasn't sure which show they were watching, he'd decided to wait, and instead kissed her on the forehead. He wanted their first kiss to be perfect, and a little more private.
"Well Bone, I'll let you get some sleep. Talk to you tomorrow." "I've got a big day."
