Time Long Past-Chapter 7

Later that night AJ and I decided to go out. I decided to wear a short black leather skirt with a small slit up the side. I wore a white stapless shirt with a sheer long sleeve shirt over it and of course my fave black platform sandals. I pulled the top half of my hair into a barette and left the rest of it down. I heard AJ walk into the room so I walked over to greet him.
“Wow! You’re lookin’ awfully sexy tonight,” AJ comment looking me over.
“So do you handsome!” I shot back.
“Come on. The club is waitin’ for us!” he said leading me out of the hotel.
AJ had decided to rent a snazzy black Jaquar, so we hopped into it and raced to the club. We walked into the club to hear Cher’s “Believe” blasting over the speakers.
“Ready to get your groove on?” AJ yelled over the music, leading me to the dance floor.
We busted a few moves on the floor and then slow danced to a few songs. I was leaning my head on AJ’s shoulder and he had his arms wrapped tightly around my waist.
“Excuse me? May I cut in?” a voice interrupted.
We stopped dancing and I looked up to see a tall, slender brunette standing there.
AJ immediated recognized the girl. “Katie?!” he exclaimed, taking his arms from around me.
“Yeah it’s me. Can we dance?” she asked again, ignoring me. Her focus was only on my boyfriend and he didn’t seem to be paying much attention to me either. I wanted to scream out, no of course you can’t dance with him, he’s my boyfriend, but I remained silent and let AJ choose. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Gail*

Nick and I decided to go for a quiet stroll along the beach. We were walking down the beach, hand in hand with the breeze blowing swiftly through our hair. I just looked up at Nick; he was gorgeous. Everything about him was perfect…his eyes, his hair, his lips, his smile…
“What Gail? Is something wrong?” he stopped to look at me.
“No, nothing’s wrong. In fact, just the opposite. Everything is perfect,” I sighed.
Nick gave me a quizzical look and before I knew it I was being lifted into the air.
“Aaaaahh!! Nick put me down! What are you doing?!” I screamed. A few other people that were walking along the beach started to stare at us. “Nick, please put me down. People are staring at us!!”
“I don’t care…let them stare!” he said, shrugging.
“Well, why am I in the air??” I yelled, as he spun me around and tossed me into the ocean.
I came up from the water and spit out the water that was in my mouth. My hair was wet and was clinging to my neck.
“Nickolas Gene Carter!!!! What in the world were you thinking? I could’ve drowned!” I yelled at him, beginning to stand up.
He laughed, “Drowned?? Gail the water is barely 4 feet deep!!”
“Oh hush! Now just look at me. I’m soaking wet!” I said, still yelling as he came closer to me.
“Aw baby, I’m sorry,” he said half smiling.
“Well, ya know what Carter? You’re just gonna have to pay!” I said, dunking his head under the water.
His arms were flailing in the air, splashing water everyone until finally he jerked his head up from the water.
“Gail!!!” he yelled out.
I just had a smug look on my face.
“I didn’t think you had it in ya to do something back to me,” he said, surprised.
“Well now ya know not to mess with me again,” I said firmly.
“Yeah, whatever,” he said as I shivered in the water.
“Can we go?? I’m freezing and my clothes are still soaked,” I said, wrapping my arms around on of his arms.
“Yeah, come on,” he said lifting me out of the water and carrying me back to his car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Claudi*

“What do you want to do?” I asked Brian, as we sat in his rented jeep.
“I dunno. What do you wanna do?” he asked, looking out the window.
“Brian, this is pathetic! We’re in the Bahamas and we have nothing to do!” I laughed slightly.
“Actually, I’ve got an idea….” He said, cranking the jeep.
“Oh no! What do you have in mind??” I asked.
“Ever sing karoke??” he grinned.
“No!!! You’re not serious!” I said, my eyes wide.
“Yep sure am!” he laughed as he sped down the road to find the nearest karoke.
We walked in and immediately heard some amateur singing with the machine.
“Haha! That’s gonna be you in a few!” Brian laughed as we walked over to a table.
“You’re the singer here. Why don’t you do it?” I asked.
“I sing all the time. I wanna hear you sing…” he laughed at the prospect.
“Bri, honey, I really don’t want to,” I pleaded with him.
“Nah…c’mon. It’ll be fun!” he said, walking up to the platform to introduce me.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big welcome to the dazzling vocal stylings of my girlfriend, Claudi,” he said, hyping up the crowd.
I was sooo nervous. He sat back down at the table as the song started to play.
“Yo, I’ll tell ya what I want, what I really, really want!” I began the lyrics, to the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” song.
Brian was cracking up and I was blushing so badly. This had to be the most embarrassing moment of my life. Finally, the song ended and I went to sit by Brian at our table. I just buried my head in my hands.
“Claudi, it wasn’t that bad,” he tried to comfort me still laughing.
I looked up at him and started to laugh as I thought about how stupid I must’ve sounded.
“Really, you could be the next Spice Girl. Like um…” Brian joked.
“Like what? Can’t-Sing-A-Tune Spice??” I suggested sarcastically.
“Nah…I was thinking more along the lines of Angel Spice,” he smiled sweetly.
“Thanks! This was actually pretty fun! Thanks for bringing me…I think,” as I recalled what I did about 5 minutes ago.
He just smiled and kissed me sweetly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Vic*

“What is this?” I said, holding up a photo album that Kevin had in his suitcase.
“Oh that. Those are pictures of my family. I take them everywhere I go! I miss my family so much, I like to think I have part of them with me, ya know?” he said, getting sentimental.
“You know Kevin. You should have spent this time with your family. Not with me,” I said, sitting the album on the bed.
“Vic, why would you say that? I love being with you!” he said seriously.
“It’s just that you don’t seem to be enjoying yourself much here. I mean this thing with you and AJ has gotten you upset and look, it’s a Friday night in the Bahamas and we’re in the hotel,” I said staring at his perfect face.
“About me and AJ…don’t worry about that. There’s just a difference between us and we don’t mesh well when we’re put together like that. If you want to go somewhere, we can. You just name the place,” he said, placing his hand on my cheek.
“Do you want to go dancing?” I asked taking his hand into mine.
“You mean like clubbing?” he asked with a hint of disappointment.
I giggled, “Uh-huh, yeah Kev…me and you clubbin’? I don’t think so! No, I meant like ballroom dancing.”
“Ballroom dancing?? Seriously? You would want to do that?” he asked getting excited.
“Yeah, but I don’t have a dress or anything,” I frowned.
“I tell ya what. Since we don’t have any plans, why don’t we go out to dinner and buy you a dress tonight and tomorrow night we’ll dance the night away?” he suggested.
“That sounds wonderful! Let’s go eat first though. I’m starved!” I said, helping Kevin off of the bed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Theresa*

Howie and I decided to go to a Luau they were having on the beach.
“Howie this is sooo much fun!” I laughed as we danced.
We were decked out in our Hawaiian looking clothes. I was wearing a bikini top and a Hawaiian decorated skirt. Howie was wearing khaki shorts and a Hawaiian print shirt that he left open, of course. Finally, the show with the hula dancers was about to start. Howie and I ordered Pina Coladas and watched the show.
I don’t know if it was just me, but I could’ve sworn one of those hula dancers was flirting with my fiance. Not only that, but I know he was flirting back!!! Maybe I was misjudging…yeah, that’s it…it’s just all part of the show….I reassured myself.
“Howie? I’ll be right back. I’m going to get another drink,” I said, standing up to go to the bar when the show ended.
I got my drink and turned to walk back over to the table when “she” was there. I watched from a distance as the hula dancer took my seat and leaned across the table for my Howie. He winked at her and they started to talk and laugh. What was he doing? I thought. He acted as if he weren’t engaged.
I walked up just as I saw him scribbling his number down for her.
“Howie?! What are you doing?” I screamed out as I felt a lump rise in my throat.
“Oh, baby…it’s not what you think!” Howie rose from his chair as the hula dancer smiled triumphantly.
“What do you mean it’s not what I think?! I know what I saw!!! You cheating jerk!” I screamed, throwing my drink at him and running off.
I had no idea where I was running to and I didn’t care, as long as it was away from Howie. I ran across the beach and felt the sting of the hot tears as they glided down my cheeks.
