Apple Oatmeal

1 cup rolled oats
2 cups cold water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups apples, chopped
dash nutmeg

Combine oats, water and salt in saucepan. Cook 10 minutes on low heat. Add
chopped apples and nutmeg. Cook 5 minutes more or until apples are tender and
cereal is done to desired consistency. Serve with brown sugar, cinnamon sugar,
milk, yogurt or honey. Serves 4 to 6.
