Biscuit Pudding

6 Cold biscuits; crumble
1 c Water
1 1/4 c Sugar
1/4 c Butter or margarine
1 ts Nutmeg
1/2 c Raisins
2 Eggs; lightly beaten
1/2 c Evaporated milk
Soak biscuits in hot water for a few minutes; add sugar, butter, nutmeg, raisins, beaten eggs, and milk, mixing after each addition. Pourt in 1-quart greased baking dish; bake in preheated 350-degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until browned.
