Chicken and Noodles

96 ounces chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup onion diced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound egg noodles frozen
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cups cooked chicken
  salt  to taste


In a large pot, heat broth to boiling. Add salt, onion and pepper. Add
frozen noodles and bring again to a boil. Reduce heat to keep from
boiling over, but still bubbling freely. Cook 10 minutes. Stir flour and
milk together and add to bubbling pot. Cook until juices are somewhat
reduced and slightly thickened. Add meat. Salt to taste. Cool.

Freezing Directions: Divide into family size portions in freezer bags or
rigid containers. Label, seal and freeze.

To Serve: Thaw and reheat over low heat in saucepan, microwave, or 350
degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
