Chicken and Ziti

1½ cups chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¾ pound mushrooms, sliced
Parsley
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
1 cup broth
1½ teaspoons each: basil and oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
16 ounce package ziti, cooked and drained
6 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup Parmesan cheese
Paprika

Sauté first 3 ingredients in oil in Dutch oven over medium heat for 8-10
minutes.  Add mushrooms and parsley and cook 2 minutes.  Add soup,cream
cheese, broth and spices, stirring until cream cheese is melted.  Stir in
chicken and cottage cheese until well mixed.  In 3 quart baking dish,layer ½
of ziti, ½ of sauce and all of cheddar.  Repeat and sprinkle top with
Parmesan and paprika.  Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.
