Cranberry Cherry Relish

Yield: 6 servings

1 c cherries, canned or fresh
1 1/2 c cranberries
2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 c raisins
1/2 ts cinnamon
1/2 ts cloves
1 orange
1 lemon
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 stick cinnamon
1/2 ts nutmeg


Pit cherries. Wash cranberries. Remove stems. Wash
orange and lemon. Cut in small pieces. Remove seeds.
Combine ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Cook slowly,

Marylin's Jellied Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce Recipe

2 pkg cranberries or 8 cups Alaska low bush cranberries
3 cups sugar (medium tart) (add 1/2 to 1 cup more for sweeter taste)
2 1/2 cups water


Place all ingredients in large pan.
Bring to boil and gently boil until all berries have burst.
Bring back to a fast boil and boil to 220 degrees on candy/jelly thermometer. Or boil for 15 minutes at hard boil.
Ladle while hot into serving dishes and refrigerate or ladel into clean pint jars, seal and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
