One-Pot Spaghetti

1 pound ground chuck
1 small onion -- chopped
2 14 1/2-ounce cans chicken broth
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
7 ounces uncooked spaghetti -- broken into 3-inch pieces
Grated Parmesan cheese


Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring
until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Return beef to skillet.
Stir in broth and next 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil; add pasta, reduce
heat, and simmer, stirring often, 15 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
Sprinkle with cheese.
