Raisin Pie

3 beaten eggs
1 C sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
2 1/2 TBS lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
2 TBS butter (can sub margerine, but why?)
1/2 C dark raisins
1/2 C golden yellow raisins
1/3 C walnuts (broken)

1 8-inch unbaked pastry shell

Combine eggs, sugar, spices, salt, lemon juice, and butter (I make sure my
butter is exceptionally soft for this and I use a beater to get a froth
going.)

Stir in Raisins and Walnuts, and pour immediatly into pastry shell and bake
in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until filling in
center is set. Cool.
