This puzzle contains 12 words in it related to chess. There's a catch, however. Rather than finding the words in straight lines, you need to start at a letter, and hop around the diagram, making knight-type moves from letter to letter. For example: If you start at the "P" on the a7 square, hop to the "A" on the c8 square, followed by the "W" on the e7 square, and finally the "N" on the f5 square, you spell out the word "PAWN". After you find the remaining 11 words, there should be 11 unused letters. Unscramble those 11 letters to get a 13th chess-related word.
