Chapter 3- A Smashing Party

After landing on Aaronda, everyone soon made their way back home to rest or to relax and spend some time with their families and friends.

“So…where are we goin’ now?” Kevin asked.

“Back to my house…” Jess answered.

Jessica and the Backstreet Boys just got off the spaceship. Captain Zeno and Kathal were the first ones to get off.

“Hey, isn’t there any celebration for a welcome back thing for your crew?” AJ asked. “No. But tomorrow, everyone in this city is gonna have a party in your honour.”

“Really?!? Just for us?”

“Yep.” She smiled.

He smiled back. “Cool!”

“Nice town you got here.” Kevin said.

“It is, isn’t it?” Jessica answered.

“What’s this town called?” Howie asked.

“Kento.”

The boys looked at each other.

“Great name…?” Brian answered.

“Yeah, well, we better get going.” She said.

They all followed her to a flying car and got in.

On the planet Aaronda, the sky was reddish orange with light blue clouds, the cars were flying above the road and most of all, planet Aaronda was more high tech then the plant Earth.

The car drove past the city, the markets and anything else that was on the way to Jessica’s house. The Backstreet Boys was amazed with the new things that went past them, while Jessica explained what it was.

Nick turned to face her. “Man! Your home planet is so cool.”

“I guess…” She grinned.

“So, how long to go?” Brian asked.

“Nearly there.”

As they reached a small bridge next to the beach, the car stopped.

“We’re here.” The car driver said.

“Thanks Bob.” Jessica replied. She faced the boys. “Well, what are you waiting for? We’re here.”

She got out of the car as the boys did the same. Nick ran up to the walls of the bridge.

“Hey Jess.” He shouted.

The car drove away as Jessica and Bob said their goodbyes.

“Yeah?” Jessica asked.

Nick ran back to where the others were standing.

“What’s up with the water?”

“What? What’s wrong with it.” She asked.

“It’s purple…”

“So…?”

He rolled his eyes.

“Well…wouldn’t you get sick from drinking it?”

Kevin placed his arm around Nick’s shoulders.

“Nick, try to remember that we’re on a different planet. We’re not on Earth.”

“Like I don’t know that.”

“Well, then you should know that Jess’s planet is different to ours.”

“Kevin, I’m not that stupid. You don’t have to tell me that.”

Everyone made a groaning sound but Nick.

“What? Did I say something wrong?”

“You know what? Let’s go before I get a headache.” AJ joked.

Everyone was laughing but for Nick and Jessica, as she didn’t know what was so funny.

“Ya know, that’s not funny AJ.” Nick crossed his arms.

“Well…” AJ couldn’t stop laughing. “Sorry.”

“Well, come on. Let’s go.” Jessica said.

Everyone followed her towards the end of the bridge to walk down the stairs.

“Hey Jess, so where’s your house located?” Brian asked.

She pointed towards the huge rock. “It’s right there.”

Jessica’s house was near the beach. But the house was builded on some huge rocks, so they all had to climb the rocks to get to her house.

“Nice place, Jessica.” Howie commented.

“Thanks.”

AJ scanned around the area.

“Hey Jess.”

“Yeah.” She was in the middle of unlocking the door.

“Where’s all the other houses?”

She unlocked the door and turned around. “Nobody wanted to live around here. So…” She turned back around. “Let’s go inside.”

The boys followed her inside the two-story house.

***Later that Night***
The Backstreet Boys and Jessica, all ate their dinner and now everyone was just hanging out in the Chair Room (but for you and me, it’s the lounge room!), talking about things.

“…Then what happen?” Jess asked.

“Well, Howie you wanna tell the rest?” AJ asked, with a big cheeky grinned.

“Well, then Nick just opened out his arms like this.” He said, while opening his arms out.

“Yeah, and then he just started spinning around and then he-!” Nick said excitedly.

“Fell off the stage. But lucky the security guard was there to catch me.” Howie interrupted.

Everyone started to laugh.

“But worst things have happen to us on stage.” AJ said.

Jessica was looking out the window. “Um…hey, I’m just gonna go outside for a while so, I’ll see ya later.”

The boys nodded their heads, to agree as she walked out the front door.

***25 minutes later***
“…Hey Brian, can I ask you something?” Nick asked.

“Sure…” He mumbled.

“Why do you think Jessica is different?”

“Like I’m suppose to know!” Brian snapped. He was rolled up like a ball as he sighed. “I’m sorry Nick…I don’t feel like talking. I just…I just wanna be with Leighanne…”

“Brian…you’re not the only person who’s thinking about their girl.” Kevin frowned.

Brian looked at him and then closed his eye, as he rested his head on his knees and sighed. “I know Kev…I know. I’m, I’m sorry…”

“Well, changing the subject! What do you think about us been fighters?” Nick stood up with excited.

Everyone shook their heads and made a funny noise.

“Nick, please don’t-” Howie said.

“But you guys!” He whined. “We get to kick some butts and we got one of the best fighters too.”

“And that would be…” AJ said, in a dull voice.

“Jess, of course!”

“What?” Everyone shouted.

“Yeah right, Nick.” AJ said.

“Yeah! She’s the highest…Fighter…um…” He tried to remember what Jessica said to him when they first meet. “Guys…help me. She’s racked the highest something…”

“Arky?” Kevin replied.

“YEAH! That’s right. She is racked the highest Arky. So, that must means that she’s one of the best and she did say that she was better than…umm…what’s the girls name starting with a K?”

“Man, Nick! You have a very bad term memory!” AJ shouted.

“I think it was Kathal.” Brian answered.

“Yeah! That’s right. It’s Kathal.” Nick said.

“Hey guys…What’s this thing about Kathal?” Jessica asked, as everyone didn’t notice that she was standing in the doorway, of the room.

“Nothing.” Nick lied, as he smiled.

“Nick, you’re such a bad liar… But I’m gonna go to sleep now because we have a big day tomorrow, so…it’s best if you get some sleep too, okay?”

Everyone nodded and said their good nights.

***The next day***
“Man, what’s your problem Jess…it’s 6 in the morning?” Nick whined.

Nick lends his head on his arm, which was layed on the kitchen counter.

“Yeah and you and everyone else has less than 45 minutes to get ready to go to the city.” She walked up to him and bended over to look into his eyes. “And you came down stairs to tell me that?”

He tried to smile. “I’m tried…I wanna go back to sleep.”

“Hey Jess!” Kevin walked into the kitchen. “Nick…?”

“Yeah…it’s me Kev…” Nick said, as he stood up slowly. “I’m gonna get dressed.”

When Nick walked up stairs, Jessica and Kevin faced each other.

“Why is Nick up this early…I thought he would have fell back to sleep, after the wake up call.”

“I really don’t know about that but is he always like that when he wakes up?”

Kevin grinned. “Yeah…he’s always like that in the mornings.”

She nodded.

***Two hour later***
After the boys got really to go to the city, Jessica showed them around the place, from the museum to the biggest park. But after all of that was over, she took them to meet the Mayor of the city.

“Good morning Mayor Zacy. Number 1-13, here to present you the Backstreet Boys. They have been chosen to fight for with sir.” Jessica said, as she greeted the Mayor. “Ah, Jessica. I haven’t seen you for a long time.”

“I know, sir.”

He walked up to the boys. “So…you’re the Backstreet Boys. It’s a great honour that you are going to help us in the battle.” He shook hands with each one of the boys. “I hope Jessica told you that this city is celebrating for you boys.”

“Yes, she did.” Kevin answered.

“Well, that’s good.”

Loud bangs of fireworks were seen, as some music started to play. Everyone in the city was gathered around the stage, where the Mayor, Jessica and the Backstreet Boys were standing.

***An hour later***
Everyone in the city was having a great time dancing and enjoying the day.

Jessica left after 20 minutes. The boys were having a great time and now the Mayor’s speak was coming to a close.

“…And now, the best part of coming to this celebration is seeing some flying actions! So everyone, sit down and relax because our very own highest ranks in the Arky’s are going to fly two planes to show us what they can do.” The Mayor said, excitedly. “And I hear that they have some new tricks for us today too!”

Every sat down and looked up in the sky. A rumbling noise could be heard, as smiles started to appear on the crowd’s face.

“And…now!” He shouted. “Let’s…hear…it…for…Jessica…Cava…and…Kathal… Ally!”

The crowd went wild as the two planes flew by.

“Hey, which plane is Jessica in?” Nick asked the Mayor, as he was sitting next to him.

“Oh, they have their own planes so…Jessica is in the black plane and Kathal is in the blue.”

“Oh! Thanks.”

The planes were doing loop to loop, spinning on the spot and many more tricks.

“Hey Kathal! Are you ready to finish this off?” Jessica asked, over the commutator in the plane.

“Yeah…of course we’re going to finish this off.” Kathal started to laugh evilly to her self. “It’s going to be one of the best endings that everyone is going to see.”

“Expressly with the new tricks that we have.” She sighed. “I hope nothing bad happens.”

“I agree Jessica.” A smirk came on her face.

“You can bet your life on it.” She thought.

“This is the best part of this performance.” The Mayor said, to the boys.

“Okay. Here it goes!” Jessica said.

The two planes zoomed pasted each other as the crowed got more excited.

Jessica done a big U turn as Kathal started to fly higher.

“Hey!! What the hell are you doing Kathal?!?” Jessica yelled. “This isn’t part of the act!”

“Just adding some more excitement in, Jessica.”

Jessica didn’t know what to do as she saw Kathal flying her plane closer to hers.

Everyone stood as they saw the Kathal’s plane coming in closer and closer with the other plane.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Nick asked.

“This…this is not part of the new act.” The Mayor had a worried face expression. “What, the two planes fly like that?”

“Yes…”

“How do you know?”

“I always see the new acts before it’s actually performed to the crowd…to see if it’s safe.”

“Oh…”

Only the Mayor, Nick and everyone working in the airport center were the only people who knew what was goin on.

Kathal kept on flying towards Jessica plane.

“Kathal! Stop this now!” Jessica yelled, as she turned the plane to the right, but Kathal kept on trailing her. “Amya! What the hell is going on!”

“I don’t know Jessica. Kathal’s gone mad!”

Amya was at the airport center.

“I haven’t gone mad. I’m just heating things up.” Kathal said.

Kathal skinned Jessica’s plane as Jessica heard a screeching noise on her right wing.

“What the hell!?! Kathal what are you trying to do? Cause a plane crash?”

“Maybe…maybe not.”

Kathal’s plane did a U turned and head straight for Jessica’s, from behind.

“Kathal, where are you? I can’t see you?” Jessica was looking around the sky.

“Jessica look out!” Amya shouted.

But it was too late, by the time Jessica saw Kathal’s plane. Kathal knocked her plane hard on the right wing that made her lose control of the plane.

“Amya! I’m loosing control!”

Jessica’s plane was heading straight for the Mayor’s building.

“Jess!” Nick shouted, as he stood up.

“Jessica! Pull up, PULL UP!”

“I am, I AM!” She was pulling the stick as hard as she could. “AAGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!”
