Welcome to Jean-Claude's office. To sum Jean-Claude up in one sentence, he is sexy, suave, cool, and all your wildest and darkest dreams come true. He is also oh so fashionable, to say nothing about desireable. The guy is all around perfect (except for the fact he has to drink human blood). He is also very powerful. He is the Master of the City, although it was Anita, and not Jean-Claude himself, who put him in that possition. Also, a little insight on him, I think he loves Anita. Sure, he wants to control her and that power of hers, that's common news, but I think he has allowed himself to become very vunerable because of her. She is his weak spot, whether she excepts it or not.
Anita Blake
Anita Blake is a animator working for Animators, Inc., and works on retainer for the police, but more than that she is a necromancer, something quite rare and powerful. She pretends to be this big, tough vampire slayer, but she is actually quite tender and needs caring for. These facts she'd never admit, not even to herself. She has never gotten over her mothers death (when she was 8), and needs to believe in the "happily ever after" ending, but doesn't. Regardless of what others say, she only kills creatures when she isn't given any other chance. If she has another option, she'll take it, but not at the cost of her own life, or even her own mortality. She doesn't like killing though! She even sleeps with a stuffed penguin for crying out loud! But shh! That'll just be our little secret.
