Ohhh, what this guy has done in his 61 (I'm not kidding!) years...and like a fine wine, he just gets better and better...

This site is, of course, dedicated to Sir Anthony Hopkins, one of the most gifted actors in the world today. From the moment I saw him in A CHANGE OF SEASONS, when I was 13, my addiction (heh-heh) has gotten stronger and stronger. Want proof?

This is what led to that well-deserved Oscar...ya gotta love a guy who gives new meaning to the phrase "I'm having an old friend for dinner"---with tongue firmly planted in cheek and that cute little smirk on his face.

The sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, however, has been rife with controversy. Ridley Scott was brought in to direct in place of Jonathan Demme. David Mamet, then Steven Zaillian, were working up the screenplay when Ted Tally followed Jonathan Demme out the door. And Tony (as he likes to be called) had expressed interest in once again playing everyone's favorite cannibal. However, the Dec. 28, 1999 announcement that Jodie Foster will not return to play Hannibal Lecter's soulmate, Clarice Starling, brought Hannibal to what could very well be a screeching halt. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what we could have seen...

As if more proof was needed...heh-heh...

In DRACULA films past, and with apologies to Peter Cushing, Laurence Olivier, et. al., Prof. Van Helsing never looked this good---OR dripped with soooooo much sex appeal. Just ask Winona Ryder.

Then there's MASK OF ZORRO, the '97 reworking of the Zorro legend. A picture speaks a thousand words...
