My Jeep is a 1977 Cherokee Chief WT.

-360cid engine with the TH-400 tranny.

-Full time four wheel drive Quadratrac tranfercase with low range.

-Stock heavy duty suspension with the towing package.

-Dana 44 axles front and rear with stock 3.54 gears.

-Stock wheels with 32"x11.50" Dueler MT tires.

Stuff I've done:

-Replaced old Carb with Holly rebuilt F*RD model.(same as original just rebuilt) Runs a lot better and as much power as a weak 2bb can give you.

-Put a K&N Filtercharger in a Edelbrock 10" breather. I can't tell too much difference in power but it looks a lot better with that chrome than the stock setup.

-Payed to have someone that knows what they're doing to put in a Jensen CD player, two 6"x9" Pioneer speakers, and two 6"x9" Jensen speakers. The setup sounds great. Its not a "system" if you will, but it works for me.

-Tons of minor repairs. Its hard to fix up your truck when all "it" wants you to do is just fix all the stuff that breaks.

Future modifications include:

-4" supension lift

-Custom rear bumper/tire carrier

Chelsea Trail

This trail is very fun when theres been a good rain, such as there was this time. Check out that record water sling distance.

The Chief at the sand pits in Elm City, not bad articulation for an old Jeep.

The big water hole at the sand pits, water started coming inside the Jeep on the drivers side. You can't tell by the picture but it slopes down and Chief was tilted going through there.

Yet another picture at the pits.

Out to sea

Almost got stuck here, I over estimated the deepness of the water.

Close up

This is before I painted the stripes and lettering back over the rust repair. The Jeep only cost me $500, plus all the repairs.

This is me and my Jeep on the Chelsea trail.

Piece of cake.
