*** The Wedding Day ***
How do I begin to write how I feel right now. Words can't express it. Nothing could ever tell you how happy I feel. I've been waiting my whole life for this day. This is the day every girl waits for. The day they get to say "I Do" to the one they love the most. I get to say that to Nick. I love Nick with all my heart and more. ...I wrote into my journal. It's only 5 o clock right now and I've been up all night. I would be getting married in 12 hours. Just 12 more hours. Everyone in the house is still sleeping except for me. I'm going to treasure this day forever. I put my pen down to just think when I heard something bang on my window. Out of curiosity I went to the window and opened up the shades. I peeked outside to see Nick below. I smiled as I cracked open the window.
"How is my beautiful bride doing this morning?" Nick asked with a smile that could melt millions.
"Couldn't feel any better Nick."
"Well, that's good. Get dress and come outside."
"Why?"
"Surprise."
I smiled as I shut the window. I went over to my closet and pulled out some khakis and a dark green tank top. As soon as I got dressed I brushed my hair and went outside. Nick was sitting on the bench aside the house. Walking over to him I couldn't help but smile.
"So, what's my surprise Nicky?"
"You'll see. First I have to blindfold you."
"Blindfold me?" I questioned.
"Yes."
"Ok then."
He put the blindfold over my eyes and said, "Ok, I'm going to help you over to the car."
"Just make sure I don't bang into anything," I laughed.
Nick didn't say anything so I assumed he smiled. We walked over to the car and Nick helped me get in. He started up the car and we took off.
"Nick where are you taking me? It's our wedding day!!"
"You'll see and don't worry. We'll be back in plenty of time before the wedding. Trust me."
"You better!! I wanna get married."
About 10 minutes later Nick shut off the car. He said he'll be back and got out of the car. A few seconds later he opened my door and helped me out.
"Can you take the blindfold off now?"
"In a minute Lisa."
"Fine."
We walked into some place that I have no clue what it is. Nick stopped and let go of my hand.
"I'm going to take it off now."
Nick slowly took it off. The slowness was killing me! When I opened my eyes I realized we were at the movie theater.
"Nick?"
"We went here on our very first date. I arranged it so we could see the same exact movie as we seen then."
"Nick. It's 5 in the morning! How in the world did you do this?"
"Lots of convincing Lisa."
"Thank you so much."
Nick and I watched 'Wild Wild West. For the second time we seen this we still never actually watched it. Both of us were too caught up in memories. We walked back out to the car when the movie was over with.
"Now we have one more trip to take."
I smiled. I had an idea where he was taking me. I was right too. Nick defiantly was re-creating our first date. Nick drove us to the park. This is where we shared our first kiss. I still couldn't believe that I actually kissed him. I'm a shy person but with Nick I was different. He brought out the best in me. We stayed at the park for about an hour and we talked. Mostly about all the memories we have had here. I would never forget our first date here and the dates that followed. When we got home everyone was up. They were all in the kitchen wondering where we went.
"Where were you guys!?" Jane asked.
"Nick took me out on a date. Actually it was our first date."
They all knew what I meant.
"Aww, how sweet!" was everyone's response.
Nick and I smiled.
***A few hours later***
The piano started and I knew that was the cue to come out. Nick's sisters and Heather walked down the aisle gracefully, as me and my dad followed. I knew waiting for me at the end was my wonderful fiancé. Everything I ever dreamed was going to come true. I stood next to Nick as the ceremony started, holding hands. I don't even remember what was being said, I was too caught up in memories to hear anything. I could tell it was the same way for Nick.
"...till death do you part?"
Nick spoke, "I do."
Of course my answer was the same as Nick's.
"You may kiss the bride."
Nick and I turned to face each other and gave each other a kiss that probably meant more than the world. We were finally married.
