Nick was pushing me, which I did not asked him to. He looked really tired enough after the Germany concert rehearsal. But he offered and begged though, so I said okay.
"Feeling better?" Nick asked.
"A lot!" I cried.
He smiled at me. I grinned back at him. Suddenly, a voice muttered 'hi' from my back. I turned around to see who it was.
"B-Rok! Hi!" I said to him.
He hugged me. "Hi."
Nick smiled. "So how's the rest of the boys?" he asked.
"Completely exhausted! Kevin got so mad when I fooled around just now when he was sleeping!" Brian chuckled, as if he made a very funny joke.
Nick and I laughed together with Brian. As we all started to make our way back to my room, a soft hand touched me from behind which made me jumped.
"Mya! What are you doing her!" I asked Mya, when I realized it was her who startled me.
"Hey, I'm your friend, right?" she said. "How's life?" sje asked the same question as Clint did before.
"Hm, okay I guess," I said. "Let's go to my room."
"You must be Nick," Mya said, handing her hands to Nick.
Nick shook her hands. She handed her hands to Brian then. Brian shook her hands. Mya looked a little shaky but she tried to control her nerves. Hey, it's the Backstreet Boys! It makes sense, especially when it's Nick!
"C'mon! Let's get going," I bragged.
She just gave me a sarcastic smile and made her way into the lift where Nick had brought me and Brian to get upstairs. As the lift stopped at Floor 5, the lift opened and we all stepped out.
We went into my room.
"I think you'd better rest, Nick. Your eyes... I bet they're tired," I teased.
"Yeah, maybe you're right," Nick agreed, rubbing his dreamy blue eyes, which looked really reddish at the bottom.
"Oh, before I forgot - you'd better call up your friends in Diamond Hotel - room number 311," he told me.
"Which one?" I asked him.
"Alex, Claud, Nicol, Vicky and um... what's her name? Oh yeah, Timay. Uh, yeah, that's about it," Nick answered.
I felt happy that Nick started to call my friends by their nicknames.
"Okay, no prob," I said, doing a circle with my right hand.
He smiled and gave me a quick kiss. He then went out. Brian muttered 'bye' and left the room, blowing kisses. I smiled at the thought on how sweet Brian was.
But Nick is much sweeter, though, I said to myself. Poor Nick, he'd been working to hard. Maybe I should give him more time to mess around with his pranks and Nintendo. I smiled at my thought.
Internet! I suddenly remembered. I didn't play them for a long time! I imagined myself moving the mouse and pushing my fingers into the keyboard. Ah, I missed the Internet so much! Maybe I would get a chance to get back on the Net when I get out of this crap place.
"Uh, Sarah?" Mya words snapped me back into reality.
"What?" I asked her.
"Let's chit chat!" she suggested.
I agreed. So, we talked quiet some times.
The phone rang. I woke up from my slumber.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey, Sarah! It's Timay!" she cried.
"Oh you," I yawned. "What's wrong?"
"I'm in Diamond Hotel. I just wanna tell ya that I don't have to leave tonight!" she said, sounded excited.
"What's up with the excitement?" I asked her.
She started to tell me about a cute guy that stayed nextdoor to her room - how good-looking he was, how hot he was and stuff.
From the hospital, I could imagine she was smiling like crazy at the thought that she could see the boy, whom she said his name was 'Brad.' I rolled my eyes and yawned.
"Well, May. Can you call me later? I'm really tired at the mo'," I told her.
"Yeah sure."
We both hung up together. I smiled on how obsessed Timay was for the "guy nextdoor" and went back to sleep.
"Hi Sarah? I'm Officer Brennan," a man who I didn't know held his hand to me.
"Uh, hi," I shook his hand, though I didn't know him. "May I know who you are?"
"Well, I'm Officer Brennan. I'm responsible to investigate this case," he said.
"You mean... about the drugs?" I asked.
He nodded to signal me that he said 'yes.'
"What do you remember before you collapsed?" he asked the first question.
"I remembered..." I said, as my mind imagined back the whole incident. "I was so thirsty. I drank a can of Coke... and then I was still thirsty... so I drank another can of Coke besides mine. After that, I walked back to the dance floor - to find Nick to dance with him. But I felt awkward and collapsed, I think," I told him, trying to sound calm.
He just nodded and wrote down what I told him on a piece of paper which he had attached on a clipboard.
The door opened.
"Hi," Nick said when he greeted me. "Oh, am I interrupting, officer?"
"I was hoping that this conversation would be private," the officer told him sternly.
Nick looked really pissed and left the room. I thought I saw him a little shaky when he left the room - or maybe it was only my imagination.
Officer Brennan skipped off to ask me some more questions. When he was finished, he told me that he would try his best to find out who had put the drugs in the Coke.
I thanked him and he went out from the room without saying 'you're welcome', which I didn't mind.
A few seconds later, Nick came in. He was wearing a black Adidas T-shirt over a pair of royal blue jeans. He looked so cool.
"What did that officer asked you?" the first question popped out from his lips.
"Oh, just some silly questions that I didn't mind to answer. How's the rehearsal's going?" I asked him.
"Great! Our tickers are sold out. There'd be about 15,000 fans. I've gotta try to hold down my nerves," he confessed.
I laughed on how nervous he was.
"Oh, c'mon Nick! Get wit' it man!!" I said in a terrible English accent.
Nick laughed. "When are you going out from the hospital?" he asked again.
"Until the doctor says so," I told him.
He grinned. "Anyway - your friend, uh, Claud?" he started to say.
"What about her?" I asked.
"I bet she's interested in Scott. I saw her flirting with him yesterday. And you know what? Scott confessed to me that he was interested in him too!" he exclaimed.
I smiled, feeling happy for my friend, Claudia Thorpe. Claud had been interested in Scott for years - since he's in his cute little butt singing country songs. Well, I had to admit that he IS cute, but I was just not obsessed on interested. Clint is my favorite out of the four, though.
"Maybe the doctor would let me -"
My words were cut off by a know at my door. I sighed. Do I have to receive a lot of visitors per day? I said 'come in', though.
Dr. Owen opened the door. At his back, I saw Timay standing and grinning cheekily at me.
"Hi. I'm here to check your health. And this is your friend, Timay," he told me.
"Yo, May! C'mon in a stop flirting!" I said nastily to her.
Dr. Owen had this weird look on his face and turned to Timay. She blushed. I rolled my eyes.
Dr. Owen checked my health and everything. Nick told me that he had to leave for an autograph session at the Bravo magazine office. I told him he would look great and he thanked me.
He gently kissed me. "Hope you feel better."
He walked to the door and went out.
Timay smacked me on my arm.
"What was that for?" I asked her.
"For saying I was flirting. What the hell were you thinking? Me? Timay? Flirting with a 27-year-old doc?" she asked, a bit high notch sounded in her voice.
"Oh, ya know.... just practical joke..." I said innocently.
She smacked me again and I laughed.
"Guess what?" Timay asked. Her eyes were glittering with excitement.
"What?" I asked her.
"Brad asked me for a date tonight!" she said happily.
"Brad who?" I asked.
She rolled her blue eyes. "Brad... the boy next door?!" she said.
"Oh," I replied. "Well, that's great! I feel happy for ya," I said.
She smiled. Her broad and wide smile showed me that she was really impatient for the date.
"I bet you wish you could fasten time," I said teasingly.
She just grinned.
Oh well, I said to myself.
